Owl City - Full Set! Live in HD w/ Exclusive Swimming With Dolphins Interview!

Музыка

As promised, here is the much anticipated full Owl City set in HD! Our exclusive interview with Austin of Swimming With Dolphins is transcribed below.
Set List:
Intro Video
Hello Seattle (Remix)
On The Wing
Fuzzy Blue Lights
Strawberry Avalanche
The Saltwater Room
Dear Vienna
Hello Seattle
Swimming With Dolphins Interview:
BVTV: It's been about a year since you released your EP; have you been working on any new material?
Austin: We have been working hard on stuff while juggling both projects. Hope to have a full length out by late summer.
BVTV: Do you plan to collaborate with anyone other than Breanne Düren?
Austin: Potentially, other female vocalist. Not sure who yet.
BVTV: How did you come up with the name "Swimming With Dolphins"?
Austin: Something we had never done and we couldn't think of anything more we'd like to have our music be a soundtrack to.
BVTV: Any music videos in the works?
Austin: Maybe, Sunset 1989 or new songs to come.
BVTV: Anything else you'd like to say to your fans?
Austin: We never could have planned or imagined the response of the fans for the music so it's all thanks to them (you) that we are where we are.
BVTV: This is your first time coming to California, are you having a good time?
Austin: California rules!

Man, imagine going to a concert like this. This must have been so surreal for most people, reading this shy guy's Myspace posts and listening to his beautiful music and then actually going to a concert and seeing him there. This was definitely a learning experience for both the audience and Adam, especially because he had social anxiety and was quite scared to perform for those first few times.

I have to say, one of the many reasons I like Owl City and many of Adam's projects is because they're so origional and bring a whole new meaning to music, and that's coming from a girl who doesn't embrace music that often. Adam has a unique way of displaying innocence of love without killing it into something dirty (like many of today's music), and imagination flows through his mind, his words, his music and his fans when they listen. Childhood freedom lives in his music. Dear world, bless him!

Its fake. I was at one of his concerts and he would periodically throw molotov cocktails into the crowd while laughing hysterically. At one point he specifically looked me dead in the eyes while smiling and whispering in latin. One week later I lost feeling in my legs and to this day I still can't walk. Tread lightly brother.

It feels like it was so long ago since I first saw this, and first listened to most of these songs. :D He's great. I'm still blown away at how different his shows are now, but it's amazing. :)

This is OLD oh my gosh. I’ve been a major hoot owl for about 6 years now and I’m actually going to see his new delux tour this spring. So much has changed yet so little at the same time. He never lost any of the magic from his music and I think that’s what makes his work stand out to me. His music has always felt like a place rather than a sound. Escapism at its finest ✨✨✨
