You know, this and your "Everybody Wants To Rule The World but it's in an abandoned mall" video really make me wish there was a movie about two teenagers trapped in an abandoned mall together and just when one of them is breaking down in tears because they fear they might never be able to leave the abandoned mall, the other one plays this over the loudspeaker and they start dancing to this together while imagining an entire fantasy ballroom around them and for those brief 3 and a half minuets they both feel at peace and in the moment. That would be a beautiful moment in a movie, and I really wish that movie was real

I can happily say that I had a similar moment, I was in 9th and (at that moment) my crush and I were practicing a song we were going to dance for her 15th birthday, I remember that there were 4 days left until her birthday party so we decided to practice in the ballroom where the party would be (Btw this ballroom was pretty big and it had a very beautiful reverb), our instructor was there, but then he went to the restroom while we were dancing, she was worried that she would forget the dance steps because our instructor wasn´t there, the only thing I said was "Just follow me", we replayed the song and danced while singing the song and looking at our eyes, the moment of just the two of us dancing and singing in a big ballroom at night was just of indescribable beauty, we nailed every dance step just perfect and gained confidence, and yeah, we almost kissed but we heard the instructor coming from the restroom, after that rehearsal we were prepared for that day and we did just amazing at her birthday party. We danced "Let It Be" by The Beatles Now that I´m writing this it does sound like a movie scene lol

Arstotzka has won the war. You fought hard with your brothers and a peace treaty was signed, cutting better deals for Arstotzka. You take a break from marching as your company rests in a small suburb area. You walk into an empty mall early in the morning to check out all the cool foods and shops left abandon. But the war has left the mall untouched. This song echos through the mall as tears fall from your eyes. You sit down remembering those you lost and those who have survived. You remember all the memories you made as you review your life. You spend the rest of the early hours listening to the echos of songs. Life is good.

I've gone to like 3 malls in the past 10 months and they where all chalked full of people.
When I was 4-5 years old I remember this song playing when me, my mom and brother were riding in the subway train. I think my brother and I were listening to this song or something similar to it. Even to this day I like subway stations and going on the train. It is both calming and exciting. One day I might go exploring in a subway station on my own or something.

I think it is the layout of the stations and like one of those areas where there is a small store and bathrooms. Now that I think of it, it gives a backrooms vibe when it is empty at night.
I just wish we had the entire mall to ourselves, we're just dancing running, eating all we want in the food court, and driving that mini car that sells for 3M dollars in the middle of the mall. We can go anywhere we want, and we carry that nostalgic, sad, happy, exciting feeling within us. My friends, I wish you were here. I like to make myself believe...💜

can they add this on spotify
POV: You're a hobo that lives near a mall that plays music 24/7 and you break in:
I have found the good part of the depths of KZread.
The mind is a powerful tool. We remember memories that never happened so vividly, you can almost taste it.

Liminal space for a liminal song props

I wanna go back to 2010 so bad
Used to hear this song in the mall all the time when it first came out! Except the malls weren't empty.
pov ur the last person on earth straight vibing
This gives me chills bro
We are the people in the mall, so, run.
Pov: You're a security guard walking around the mall
I can smell the mall holy shit
now i want to go to an empty shopping centre
Aah man the feelings! 😭😭😭
This looks eerily similar to my local mall that’s almost empty now. I’m kinda freaked out now

This actually exciting and feels so good in the middle of apocalypse
I just want to spin really fast while listening in the mall to this
I woke up at 2:20 then KZread recommended me this and I watched it
LOL most shopping centres in the United Kingdom are not even open at 2:30 in the morning and this is the perfect example although most of the shops wouldn’t be empty they would just have shutters on them Apart from the 24 hour ones if there was any
Thank you

@@giannibowling6725 No Life in general... Being with my friends in the mall, goofing around, enjoying each other at every moment we laughed.. or leaving the mall to go bs outside cause the carnival was in the parking lot, or to run over to the McDonald's, sit in the corner booth until we got kicked out... I miss all my bestfriends & knowing we use to be each others biggest fans at one point, just for us to only have feelings & to not being around so much :( Just wished we would've chased our dreams more then we should have cause now were almost strangers... :/
Holy shiiiit 2009 when my mall used to play these pop songs back then 😢🖤
One of the best nostalgic song
Creepy, yet I kinda love it. Maybe it's because I love the song, but with that warn nostalgic glow of that mall, it's kinda... nice.
waking up at 4AM at the Philly airport after you missed your 9PM flight the night before
It's almost eerie because it's just the song, there's no slowing or pitch FX except for echo. It's too normal for its context and that's how it works so well.
00:00 to 0:19 is literally how I felt most of the time when I was five 🤠
Vegas and casinos 4am but than there’s always someone here and there
I was 12 when this song came out, still a banger 😂
i remember when i walk to cinema to watch inside out (2015) this plays when i was 7
I have no idea how i feel about this i want to scream and cry at the same time but i'm not sad (idk the notion of sadness has vanished since i'm here)
This reminds me 2020 HI FROM 2025

you would not believe your eyes if a maniac took your spine (in a mall at 2:30am)
This is happy, yet it makes me cry🤠
The good mall ending: you escaped the entities by going through the fire exit. You look at your watch same time you were trapped. Now leave. The song is a timer. Run.
