Teddy isn't sorry for cheating. She is sorry that she got caught. This scene tore me up. Owen has made plenty of mistakes, but he had remorse. He went to counseling and worked on himself. Owen gave Teddy the chance to be open and come clean, but still lied directly to his face.

Totally agree with you , but atleast when cristina confronted him he was totally honest with her and told her every detail, but with teddy she still lied to his face .I really hope this is the end of their relationship, i don't overly care for owen but i think he needs to be single for awhile and fix his issues before jumping into another relationship .

@@truelies2667 did he cheat on Beth? I remember he broke up with her in an email but I thought it was before he got together with Christina. He definitely had an emotional affair since he was clearly in love with Teddy while engaged to Beth, but that changed when his sister was supposedly killed and he was in the incident with the other soldier. He came hone with sine serious PTSD and didn’t even tell his mother he was back yet. I feel like he probably broke up with Beth either before he came home of right after.

Even though Owen was a cheater himself, at least he didn’t lie like teddy.

Owen didn’t deserve this. People will bring up Emma, Cristina, and even Amelia, but each of those moments had some kind of precursor. This time, he dealt with their issues healthily. He went to counseling. Worked on himself. He opened up. He gave Teddy the benefit of the doubt and trusted her. He didn’t deserve this and the fact that he still gave her a chance to come clean so they could try to work through it and she looked him in the eyes and still lied speaks volumes.

What’s really heartbreaking to me is that he was telling her how much he loves her how much he trusts her. And he’s begging her just to say it. But she doesn’t and she won’t.

Nah, I don’t think Owen deserves better. Owen cheated on both Emma and Cristina and tried to force Cristina to have his baby, when she didn’t, he held it against her and ruined their marriage. He also tried to make Amelia feel guilty for changing her mind about having a baby and ruined that marriage too.

I think Owen deserves this. He cheated on Beth cristina emma and Amelia and also strung Teddy along for so long that she was scared of losing him again. So that's why she went to Tom because she was scared. After everything that he has done he shouldn't be placing judgement.

I like this scene and how he handled it. I haven't seen anything else but I like this.

i gotta say as someone working in the industry during COVID, huge props to the writers and getting creative and figuring out ways to write scenes and have some chances to show actors' faces without masks on.

Owen gave Teddy all the chances to come clean. He asked and asked if she has anything to tell him. He gave her the chance to tell him herself but she kept choosing to lie about it

He’s really not as bad as folks make him out to be. Aside from having cheated on Cristina like a decade ago, what has he really done that’s so bad to garner all the hate? He’s not really worse than others on the show. Alex was beloved and look at some of his past actions. Richard is beloved and is no less a cheater than Owen. Mark was beloved and he slept with his best friend’s wife. Best friends since childhood. Not just any old buddy. George cheated on Callie. Derrick cheated with Meredith while supposedly trying to work on things with Addison. The show is laced with cheaters who don’t get treated like Owen.

Im going to say it because no one else will but my heart breaks for Owen he did not deserve this.

Two things to say: A: Owen is a terrific father ! I love how he cares for his kiddos. Broccoli wants to be reunited with sister carrot -genius! B: I hope that T&O’s relationship will go through a metaphorical hurricane before they finally find to each other again

When you cheat on someone it clearly means that you aren’t 100% in love, Teddy and Owen are the perfect example that they loved each other deeply but I never felt that they were really in love....they were so much better as friends, I hate the fact that the writers always turn every friendship on romantic thing

I feel nothing for Teddy. What is she crying for? Poor Owen.

We all have to remember Teddy has been a conflicted person with her life’s choices. I’ll never forget how surprised I was to learn about her past relationships with women & a betrayal of her best friend?/partner? at the the time. It gave us a lot of insight into who she was & some decisions she’s made. She may not actually know who or what she truly wants. Tom was really into her & she was soaking it up.

@@Stonytude I think it was last season. Teddy bumped into someone she knew from some years back. As a result of them talking there were a lot of flashbacks of how they knew each other going back to the 9-11 terroist attacks in NY. I don’t want to give the wrong characters the storyline, but this is the jest of it. Teddy was having an affair with this woman’s partner. They were supposed to be good friends & Teddy broke that trust. The woman ultimately got killed in the towers, I think. When her partner listened to voice messages after her death, that’s how she found it. I think the deceased woman confessed her love for Teddy. I remember thinking I didn’t see that coming at all about Teddy’s past.

@@emilypumpkin1073”, that actor that was talking about his son wasting his new kidney for a party. That actor in the beginning scene of this clip plays one of the main characters, Hodgins, on the former fox series, “Bones.”

I don’t feel bad for Teddy, but I don’t feel bad for Owen too. Zero sympathy for the both of them.

Yes I understand that they are both cheaters. But it’s Not the same thing. At least Owen didn’t lie about cheating. At least he was remorseful and went to counseling. He was very understanding that is why he gave Teddy a chance to come clean. She still chose to lie. She doesn’t love she is just upset she got caught.

Even when he cheated on Cristina he was actually remorseful and worried for her well being throughout that entire time and went through counseling and swore he would never do it again but teddy is just “I got caught I’m not sorry but please love me” The hurt is so real in this scene also the end of episode 21/season 16 when he went into the storage closet and played the video and you just see him sink into the floor... I never felt so bad for Owen

Krista Vernoff is really pushing that we're gonna understand why Teddy is doing everything she is. Anything shy of a brain tumour (and we can't put that past GA) will not take away the damage they've done to her character. I used to love Teddy but all of this is just WAY too messy to fix. No idea where this storyline is going

This show came out when I was nine years old, and I am now twenty-four years old. I have a profound appreciation for most of the characters and many of the storylines, because I quite literally grew up with them. I know I'm far from the only person who can say that, which is why it's so infuriating when things like this happen because it makes no sense. Not to people who remember Henry and how much Teddy supposedly loved him, but never mentions him or acknowledges that he even existed. Not to people who watched Christina love Owen when he was a broken man suffering from PTSD and trying to put his life back together. Not to anyone to remembers Teddy commanding respect and being deserving of it, but has now turned into the woman who cheats on her fiance on their wedding day, and legitimately tries to gaslight him into believing that he's the problem. It's not only annoying but disgusting. I'd love for Grey's to go on for as long as possible, especially with the abundance of painfully relevant real world issues to pull from. But turning once lovable and respectable characters into whatever this is, isn't character development or progress.

Yeah once its recorded it kinda hard to deny it😂
