Deanorito there's a guy named kephrii who is in top 500 all the time and he is a widow main. how does he do it if his team.is always flaming him and the fact that people don't like widow, justifying a 20% lower winrate. if he is decent his winrate should be 50, but since his teammates hate widow it makes him lose 20% more games? I doubt that

Because he's not a good Mercy player. He just doesn't know how to play her well. In fact, watching him play Mercy makes me think that maybe I should play comp more. As it stands, I rarely play comp, because I don't want to deal with the toxic community, but seeing people doing poorly as Mercy, but still getting decent wins makes me have hope that I could do well as Mercy. But yeah, Brad should stick to his mains more.

wciuu The reason why she doesnt play a lot of mercy in competitive is because mercy isnt in the meta and people will complain, Lucio and Ana I believe are in the meta right now, so she rarely gets to play mercy. I believe she explains this in her newest video "More thoughts of a mercy". I can't remember though if it was in the comments or in the video.

Gotta say I genuinely feel bad for McCreamy. The guy is great with Widow and any looks at the kill feed with show it honestly but Widow just is one of those characters people will jump on because they never wanna admit they aren't pulling weight. I can get consistent 3 golds with Symmetra over Soldiers or any DPS but when we lose "Symmetra you should have switch" and it's the same dumb treatment to good Widows or any off META hero.

I play on ps4 so maybe it's different but I just say I'll switch if it's not working and talk a lot to the team and they are usually okay with it. I do only play her on specific maps like Hollywood and Route 66 though.

McCreamy is right. Overwatch is now at a point where its not as fun as it once was. Everyone always wants meta picks and shit and literally sweating so hard for a meaningless win. Most heros are VERY overrated and people will burn you at the stake for picking them or god forbid liking them.

Legitimately feel bad McCreamy deals with so much bs. Personally I'm of the school of thought that yelling at teammates helps literally no one and distracts both parties involved. I mean if someone was actively, literally, doing nothing on purpose, mention it or if they continually forgot to do stuff, maybe mention it , but both can wait until the end of the game so it doesnt distract from the team. Unless its on the level of a symmetra putting a teleporter on the edge call that out.

Zcience I'm also of that mentality. If someone picks something "bad" and we lose the game it's only one game. That one game barely slows the climbing process that I have to do. Also picking something you're comfortable on is almost always better than picking meta imo.

I mean I do agree with the notion of "Dont troll pick in Competitive, leave that in Quickplay"... but instantly labeling Off-Meta picks as troll is wrong. Hell, even Torbjorn is picked in Grand Master games on some maps from tiem to time to great effect. Sit back, see if your teammate's pick works. If not, politely say "Maybe a [different character] would be better here"

you are literally the the reason why McCreamy doesn't want to play. Waiting for a 4 man rez is more sensible than a 2 or 3 because it takes the enemy team off guard. Maybe if you played a support you would understand, but DPS can't do anything without a healer, so get off your high horse.

Twizp exactly! Playing in QP can be toxic. We had so many players throwing in so many games. QP and Comp and when it came to the next game we had the perfect comp, 2 healers, 3 dps.... the last person chose Genji, instead of a Tank. Because of the games I had I got incredibly angry at them. He did go tank and I apologized for my words, but he was a nice person.

But if you paid attention at all, Creamy literally carried with picks on half the enemy team MULTIPLE times EVERY game. Say what you will about Widow not being a viable hero, but when someone does that much work in one game, and still gets called the "thrower" then the complainer is simply stupid and needs to learn to pay more attention.

I think the problem I had in this video is that they didn't participate in team voice chat. For example with the tracer on the payload, with some communication maybe some teammates would have helped and gotten that tracer. Sometimes you can have a widow that get kills but your team is in no position to move in and the respawn gonna happen before your team moves in. So communication is the key. When people get salty at them they are just adding fuel to the flame. My point is that they are not acting that much better than these salty guys in the video.

Axel Drans You forget the whole point of D.va though. She's supposed to be played as a tank and be in her mech. Master level players would agree with me and say her out of mech form is useless a lot of the time. Because she'd get picked so quickly. Not that it can't be useful, though. My point is that she is an assassin tank and can't do her job properly out of mech. Especially in comp, people expect you to play dva as intended or you'll get backlash from some people. And the fact that up close her fusion canons are quite deadly, I'll have to disagree

Yeah, I played my fair share of League but I have never seen so much *consistent* toxicity as in Overwatch. Sure, there is the occasional flamer or troll but that only happens in a few games. It's also because you absolutely NEED everyone in your team to work together in Overwatch and the average gamer doesn't understand the concept of teamwork and general sensibility.

I know McCreamy is a good widow, but when he complained on Dorado that nobody would switch to Genji, that was a bit dumb cause couldn't he since he was holding a DPS slot? Again, I know he's an amazing Widow but sometimes you do need a hero for certain situations.

It wouldn't be a smart switch though if he's not good at Genji... It's better for the team to play a char you're good at over a more popular one that you're not...

Zylbrad in the beginning is every Mercy main. Flies in, rezzes four people, and then praying that the team can do something.

I just want to say that Brad's starting to laugh like Shen and that's adorable

LowerSpider4725 PR mcreamy and zylbrad were pretty toxic as well, obviously not in teamchat, but they blamed the tanks every game, just like how their team blamed them. Zyl.and creamy aren't better than any of these guys

WilkerZin I've gotten 20 kills as Mercy before and I got silver healing that game I think. That's because my team wasn't pulling their weight so I had to dps.

literally me whenever I play as Lucio and everybody just sends me a message saying "Bad Lucio" when literally I healed everybody and broke it down more than 5 times in a game I really hate some people in this community and sometimes there are nice people that go Zarya and help us survive with her bubble! God bless all Zarya mains *ahem* anyways my point is if you are a healer that heals up to 15k they will talk shit either way

Lycrosia yeah the community is getting worse and worse from a lot of players (not saying all players are bad but some just get angry) ps: I never play comp with people I don't know since 1: People send me messages talking shit and telling me to heal 2:People LITERALLY never help healers so I end up dying or just run away then come back when I'm at least 80 health risking myself and helping them but they end up talking shit. Anyways Overwatch is pretty toxic and some people talk shit when they are pretty bad themselves

Daddy Sinbad I know the struggle, man. I main Reinhardt, and I NEED to hold up that shield. I try my best to save the supports; I even saved the team from a Nano-Beyblade AND a D.VA Nuke; but it's STILL NOT ENOUGH! You NEED a team in this game; not just because it's a multiplayer game; but you need people that you actually know to play with, otherwise it feels like nothing but toxicity

You can be annoyed at ANY pick, meta or no, if they do that. The point is, if the person playing the off-meta pick does BETTER than if they' played a meta pick, don't force them to play meta. It's better to go 11 kills 20 deaths off-meta than 0 kills 10 deaths (for a dps, that is) on a meta champion, wouldn't you agree? At least they did something with the 20 deaths in the other example.
