Something I love about Zen's personality is that, while yes he is certainly a wise and calm monk he's also a cheeky bastard. Like when he kills someone he has the chance to say "You may be missed, but not by me" or if you boop someone off map, "A fall is merely a chance to rise again... later." His variety of "backstories" are a good part of that

Zenyatta and Ramattra both envying ants, but for very different reasons, is extremely on-brand for their characters and really interesting. The way these two characters mirror each other despite being complete opposites- yet the two still have this respect and brotherly love for one another- is perhaps my favourite bond between two characters in all of Overwatch.

I love the multi answer interactions, but my favorite is the Genji tripping over his sword one, especially Cassidy just being like "Sounds like him", when all the other Overwatch folks are amazed. NVM, My favorite is the Soldier Kitchen line, the thought of fucking Junkrat, Ashe and Symmetra all living with the Overwatch folks is amazing to me.

Being crafty is one thing, actively building magnets and bombs out of scrap that consistently work *when* you want them to work, without backfiring when you use them, is smart

@Hitthere you can one hundred percent be smart at one thing and stupid another tho. For the same reasons why someone who's incredibly smart, let's say with a doctorate from Harvard or smth in technology for example, wouldn't be near as adept at lets say someone who's dedicated their life to cooking. That's the case with Junker residents, I feel. They're incredibly smart at making weapons from things that aren't typical components to make weapons with. But other things they definitely struggle at, simply because it isn't an expertise they'd typically need.

Whatever the reason several characters who didn't ask Zen where he worked at then joined in to voice there surprise at his previous life, it's so charming to hear them jump in. Especially Roadhog given his history. Just like, so genuinely and respectfully befuddled. Made me smile.

Speaking as an autistic person (since Symmetra is canonically autistic), I can hazard a guess: She likely requires exact times and measurements for everything she cooks, even though cooking is by no means an exact science and every appliance works differently. She likely didn't take that into account, but doesn't realize that she could've adjusted something on her end because, as far as she's concerned, the way she learned how to cook is the only way that's right because it's the way that makes sense to her.

Plot Twist Zenny is actually telling the truth and he just likes doing work. Also like how Zenny and Rammy like the same animal but have completely different reasons for it that fit them.

My theory on Zen's "before the Crisis" answers: if he isn't already pulling everyone's leg, I think its his way of saying how "all are one" in the Iris. Many other Omnics had different jobs before sentience, so he too "experienced" them.

i really liked when the OW cast replied to Lucio's question about their fav animal, its very interesting to see who loves what. Some are obvious like Kiriko, and Widowmaker, but others you'd just be surprised like Doomfist being partial to Starlings or Sombra with deep sea animals.

Sombra's interactions with Sigma and about Sigma to Moira are pretty wholesome. In her line to Sigma she tells him that Moira and Doom are messing with his brain but he seems to be pretty unconcerned and I think he says they're just trying to help him, so she tells him that fine, but if they try anything he should come to her. In her line to Moira she tells her to stop messing with Sigma. She refers to Sigma as "viejito" and it's generally implied with her attitude towards him that she cares for him and sees him as a type of grandfather figure or family member.

These are all really cute, and gives a lot of fun and wholesome interactions between heroes who otherwise dislike each other or wouldn't communicate much at all. It's a welcome addition and gives even more personality to our great family of 36 heroes ^^

I love how when Sojourn is answering Lucio's question, you can almost hear her voice actor break character with a held back chuckle at the end!

I love how the bomb exploding 5:32 in the background just says that explosives were involved

Hanzo is the only one that seems alright with bastion on the team when Brigitte introduced him Junkrats singing is actually pretty decent, he could be in choir And omg I'm imagining everyones kitchen mishap all happening at once and it's hilarious

Sigma's Questions really show off how delightfully deranged he is in the best way possible. I love it.

I've seen another video covering these, and I appreciate how you just played all of JQ's demands to Hammond back to back, then Hammond's response, instead of JQ, then Hammond, JQ, then Hammond, like I've seen others do. It makes it so much less annoying, considering there's no variation in Hammond's response.

@@nixtypikal I’d hope people would have enough of a brainstem to parse that it’s not one massive block of text. They’re voice lines, small snippets which should only take 2-3 seconds, not a paragraph worth of dialogue.

"Guys, remember when I single handily saved Winston's life by deflecting a laser as thick as my body and then proceeded to cut off the hand of a robot as big as a skyscraper?" _"Yeah but that sword trip tho."_

Hearing all those kitchen incident lines play out is hilarious because it makes it all sound like Jack saw literally everything gone wrong in there, and thought it was all done by just one person. Though, it's quite possible that the same person who stole Jack's leftovers was the same person who stole the corndogs...and left the banana peels.

Same, I love reading and listening to the interactions between characters. It helps build character depth and let us know what their relationship is like to each other.

​@@Apolleh i mean, he's a criminal that could escape any situation given to him just to steal cash he didn't even want fully to himself, he also is astronomically competent at creating his own equipment and high efficiency explosives on par with the high quality ones pharah has all from resources found at a garbage and scrap disposal. Also Winston and tracer unlikely to anyone else like junkrat even though he's a criminal, i think they're taking a chance with him just like with Cass to redeem himself, it's just, y'know, literally growing up in a radiated wasteland raised as a madmax-esque character does not do wonders for one and they need a little bit more time turning more civilized, however junkrat is already quite "tamed", can tell it from his overwatch 2 skin, he's not fully there but he's getting there

These are cute. The people in charge of the voicelines are really good at capturing their personalities in each response and building their relationships

As a tracer/junk main, the “He’s not with us” made me laugh and cry at the same time

In Ana's case, I can see her being fond of the Short-Eared Owl. Mei's would be either a yeti, a polar bear, or a type of penguin.

I love the subtle joke that genji, the dragon robot ninja's favorite animal is not a dragon at all.

I can imagine a betting pool regarding what Zenyatta did before the Omnic Crisis.

It took a team of five to attack that kitchen, and soldier wants answers. I myself want to know if there was a wrecking ball in that kitchen. I love the social interactions these characters have, Rammatra is very nice and polite even though he probably hates every single human.

Ram being pretty chill in Omnic form makes a lot of sense to me. At the end of the day he just wants peace and his hatred for humans only really shines through in Nemesis form

I love the small detail that Winston tells the pilot jokes to the people that fly. (For those who don’t know, Tracer was a pilot)

I love how damn near half the entire roster is shoving themselves in Zenyatta's business.

I assume that's because Michael Chu isn't around anymore. I believe he was the main 'force' behind the gency interactions. Since I never liked or personally thought the ship made much sense, I'm rather glad about it. Though I understand if it's disappointing for the people who like gency.

I think there's more stuff for them in story mode. In one of the story trailers you see both of them talking and the developer mentions how the cutscenes would be different depending on who's chosen, and proceeds to specifically mention Genji and Mercy and how you'd get an update on 'their relationship.' Could be taken anyway, but nonetheless it's interesting that they were used as an example, and this was after Chu left too.

Imagine these interactions on a short comic or a cinematic? All of these are more than awesome!

Makes sense that doom likes starlings. They're invasive species that conquer native birds. Not unlike talon

I love how at the end after Zenyatta says what he supposedly did, even characters that have NOTHING to do with him are also questioning it, as if they were actually surprised by the answer.

Lucio: What's your fav animal? Everyone: *talks about today's animal* Genji: Triceratops :D

I’m not sure if it’s what they intended, but I think Sombra may point out the Bigfin Squid in particular because its tentacles look kind of like the lines that appear when she hacks someone

Zen and Ram having the same favourite animal just shows how they are still similar
