I just got my Exfil ballistic from the black friday sale - it's such an improvement over my ACH that I doubt I'll ever be able to go back. The only thing that threw me off was how wide it was. It doesn't feel big when you're wearing it, but the geometry of the shell gives it...a distinct look. I wish I had gotten a chance to compare the Exfil with an Ops Core side by side to check out the dimensions.

Bro, I subscribed because you were a cool dude who left his ego at the door whenever talking about my countries military and gave credit where it was due. But these kit reviews are fascinating! I'd love to see more of these, I've worn a few different helmets and American ones (even issued kit) is far more comfortable than British. Please keep these going, a decent review on gloves would be appreciated! Mine are in bits now..

Is the $400’price difference worth the weight savings ?

I have the M/L SL and it's awesome. I probably would have gone with the XL but nobody had them in stock, including Team Wendy. I have dual MUM-14s (unfilmed) with the Wilcox MUM bridge and G24. Also have the ballistic mandible. I have the 1.5lb weight pack on the back with the Agilite. I ride a KTM and use it as my moto-helmet as well (visor attached). I'll add that the chinstrap is short. It could be a bit longer. I had to get the extension.

@@TheInfantry98 the helmet you wear is better than the one you don't, and team Wendy helmets are rated decently. I'm pretty certain it'd pass DOT testing, but not EU standard

So would you buy that one or the ops core super high cut

What size of the Team Wendy Exfil did you get and what is the circumference of your head? It looks like a Size 1. I am in between sizes and was pushed into the XL (Size 2). I think I would be better off with a Size 1 (M/L). Thanks for any info you can provide.

hey bro out here in 4/25 (A) up here in alaska. I want to purchase this helmet but its unfortunate its not really authorized to wear any after market helmets. - Unless your an NCO but even then I never see it.
