Has there been an update in which race start works? And does this function work on similar displays on other mercedes amg models?

Can you turn rs mode on and make lunch control, even its not visible on the clusters or now its just impossible? I have the same problem with my e63 and im pissed off

I'm the guy who made this video. I agree that something needs to be done about RACE START / Launch Control for Mercedes clusters. However, Carlife-mall are only sellers of these clusters, they did not/do not develop them, but they do speak with the developers of these clusters when issues need fixing. Rock@Carlife-mall has been great in working with me to get the developers to fix many of the issues I reported, including TPMS, missing ECT, EOT and TCU temperatures, wrong text being displayed in various areas, warning lights had theme alignment issues etc. Hopefully they can work something out as its a shame/disappointing to lose that feature. I have sent a video to Rock to demonstrate how RACE START works on our models so he can pass it onto the developers. Anyone who wants the RACE START feature added should also let Carlife-mall know. Hopefully the developers will eventually be able to figure out a way to add it.

I looked at the cluster shape/bolt screw holes, everything looks the same. Connector is the same. The b class w246 interior looks almost for 90% the same as the w176. Just a big w176 on higher suspension.They share the same platform and when you search for the original w246 cluster on google, some part numbers are matching each other. Looking at both clusters from top, there are very little differences inside.

I have made a deal with a another seller from china. If it will not fitt, he will take it back. But I think it will fit. Strange thing is, it looks completly the same but nobody has try d it yet.

good video, but I have a question... in my OEM cluster I can activate or deactivate the display of the mirrors when the car is opened, can this also be done in this digital cluster? or is that function lost?

There is an option for Folding Mirrors (ON/OFF) under vehicle settings on the digital cluster, is that what you are talking about?

If I refer to that, I have one last doubt, I see that in the digital cluster the initials P, R, D, N, L appear since the car has automatic transmissions, but my car is not automatic and it is a manual transmission, My question is in my case those acronyms would still appear or, as happens in my OEM cluster, they do not appear since my car has a manual transmission, I don't know if I have explained myself well.

I think there is a factory/upgrade code or an upgrade file that can be used to remove the PRND display for manual cars, as I remember Rock@Carlife-mall mentioning it during one of our conversations.

Just bougbt this and yup no gearbox oil temperature or fuel level or tyre pressure 😢

Make sure you are running the latest firmware (this is important as they only recently added/fixed those features, get files from Carlife-mall). Then select the Factory option in settings and enter code: 0169 Scroll through the list and you can enable 'Tire Pressure' and 'Other Info' (Other Info enables Engine Oil Temp, Engine Coolant Temp and Gearbox Temp). Once enabled go back to the menu, scroll and select Assistance and you will see options for Tire Pressure and Other Info. Are you saying you cannot see your fuel level? I have no issues as you can see in this video the fuel level is displayed at the bottom of the left speedometer.
