Almost the same happened to a friend in Thailand some years ago - show respect and that u are sorry and have reasons for the mistake works a long way. My friend only did get a post-it-note from the immigration officer "late application" nothing more =)

Tom, Lay is the most sweetest and genuine girl you can ever find. She is not annoying, not a bitch who is up your ass and so over on herself (the past), plus she gives you your space. She is definitely what us westerners look for in a woman!! I'm married to my Filipina wife since 2015 and Lay and my wife are very similar and the reason why I say this is that you will never get tired of her. You will actually love her more and more each and every day. I also like how you put aside the partying and are focusing on your relationship 1st so that tells me you are finally happy and wanting to settle down, and from what I see Lay is definitely THE ONE to settle down with!!! Travels Europe and stays in peoples houses for free. Father gets sick and shows viewers the hospital bill (hoping someone pays it). Wakes up and puts on 5lbs of make-up to cook breakfast. Has Tom made a volg of a vist to Lay's home/home town?

Lay is a good cook and would be a great judge of food. Tom and Lay I love grilled fish and I noticed it is boiled or fried. Can you order grilled food. I am happy to see both of you.

Tom. You should be wearing comfortable clothes when you walk around Manila. Me when I'm on Cebu and on Camotes Island. I wear sleeveless top and shorts n sandals n apply sunscreen. Lots hehe bc I'm sooo white.

Were you using an active Gmail account in the online application? The only way to use online is with an active Gmail account...why? Welcome to the Philippines using the least secure email in the world but they've definitely got the right idea along with the eTravel...which btw...don't forget to do! 😊

8710 pesos is £121 pounds just for a one month visa extension. A two month visa extension is only 500 pesos more than a one month visa extension.

I get over heated at about 76 F and I live in Florida. I keep my AC set at 67 F I don't think I could handle the Philippines. I can hardly handle Florida.

Overstay is 500 pesos per month so your 2 days would have been about 35 peso fine. Immigration advised me not to carry my ACR card around, keep it in a safe place, but just a copy. You lose it a replacement is around 10500 pesos.

Glad you didn’t have to pay extra for overstaying. But wow I think the visa extension went up! If I remembered right used to be just over 4k pesos and that’s including the express fee for 1k pesos. I got so tired of the back n forth and decided to apply for dual citizenship. Korea would be a nice country 2go2 where it’s nice n cooler. Ditto with Japan.

The Philippines makes money out of visa extensions. As the first visa extension is only 3130 pesos. Then the 3rd visa extension from 4 months to 6 months is only 2930 pesos. So if you stay more than 59 days but under 4 months they really pay a high fee.

Tom I’m confused, I recently did the standard 30 days then extended by 29 days. Cost approx 3,000 as they always include the fast track payment in Cebu but no card application.
