The fact that this bear wasn't able to save a life isn't what broke my heart. It's the fact it tried so hard & realized it couldn't save them. Only to then comfort them & weep for the loss of life. This little bear values an individuals life so much, it weeps when unable to save them.

This is why I love the SCP community. this made me actually cry, which I haven't done in so long. The reason the bear distressfully gathers patchwork cloth is because remaking the brain would cause the need to make a new nervous system, even if the bear only had to make a new brain, it would take night and day- far too long.the person would have stilll died, but incase the bear was met with a brain injury he would keep it, the bear would always rememeber them. and would sow itself a bear, as a sign for its love and devotion and that it would always try. and would always try to help. Alwas be nice. Always be helpful. you may not be as cabable as the bear but if this bear is real, it wants you to do the right thing. "Patchy the Paramedic" Loves you. he wants you to know this. he, loves you.

During that last test, SCP - 2295 knew he couldn’t save him, so he offered him something before he passed, and embraced him like he was a family member dying from a disease. This reminds me of SCP - 4999 on how he knows when people will die and stays to comfort them through their final moments. I have cried multiple times looking back at that scene and I cried while writing this comment.

Fun fact: The bear was marked as “Kairos the Bear” when it was recovered from the mail truck. Kairos is one of the Greek words associated with time (they had many), specifically referring to an opportune time or moment. When the letter says “only time can mend all wounds”, it means it in both a figurative and literal sense. Due to the bear being named time, it references the bears healing capabilities, but also means time in a literal sense, hence referencing the bears limitations the way that only _time_ can truly mend all wounds.

I know there's other good SCPs but this one's gotta be the most purley good one. This bear has the sole goal of helping anyone it can and its pretty capable of doing it. Seems the bears origins are heavily influenced by a granny's love for her family. SCP-999 and SCP-4999 are contenders but i think i put this bear at the top.

Scp-2295 is so pure Q u Q

God every aspect of this SCP is tear-jerking 😂😭 from how much it seems to genuinely want to help us, to how distraught it was when there was nothing at all or could do, and even how the bear was discovered. We as the reader have to face the fact that tommy never got this bear, and I assume that based on its purpose, tommy needed it. Maybe the fact that the bear never got to save his destined owner is why he tries to save everyone else...damn why am I crying rn 😂😂

I never cried so much for a youtube video, especially from an SCP video. This scp story can be adopted into a children's story book. This scp is now my favorite. It can show compassion, love and affection. It is like a loving grandmother in a teddy bear.

What makes 2295 so wholesome is that it will literally tear it self apart to save your life if necessary.

This single scp can make a good movie according to its own lore...
