I definitely relate to walking on eggshells with a parent. I moved out from my parents place in 2021 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love living on my own and not having to worry about anyone else!

Keegan you are such a great person. Thanks for being so honest with us. I am totally with you on cutting a toxic parent out of your life. I've had to do that too. Also you completely hit the nail on the head about why I enjoy living alone and why I am so introverted - my life growing up was full of trauma and no peace. Keegan! From 2020 to September 2022, I was in a toxic work environment. I spent January 2022 until September 2022 job hunting. It took me 9 months to find a new job. I work in the video game industry and it’s super competitive plus it’s a male heavy industry. So I sent in so many applications every day and I took so many interviews. After so many rejection letters, in September I got my job that I have now and I could not be happier! Putting in the work and waiting, makes it all worth it in the end! It will be all worth it once it all falls into place! Hopefully this helps! Love you!! ❤️❤️❤️

on the cutting ties with your dad thing: i don’t have a parent like that but i have a close friend who does. she had been PRAYING for her parents to get divorced for years so that she could get away from him. he was abusive and narcissistic, and when she was 20 she finally got her wish. she’s so much better off now. i’m so so happy that you were able to find that peace, too.❤

Love these chatty videos. Thanks for being so open and trusting of us. You don't have to share or overshare your life with us but it's appreciated so much. You give us such a realistic view of the ups and downs of life. Of your self discovery. We're all just learning what works for us, especially so early in adulthood. I'm so proud of what you've accomplished. Your completely right that passion and career doesn't have to be the same even if it would be nice. It's definitely important to see what works for you. I'm genuinely sad something like that happened to you. Why he would do that to your relationship? For myself, I love solitude. I wanted to live with family but now that I'm older and more aware, I want to live alone. I want to be in my own space. It would be so much calmer. As far as the relationship and kid stuff, since about middle school I've always wanted to live the single life. No romantic relationship and never children. It hasn't changed. Society might judge but one lifestyle doesn't fit all.

You have a way of being deep without trying hard. It’s a breath of fresh air. Coming from a 32 year old mum, I wish I had waited until later in life to get married and have kids. Looking back, I was not ready. I was 22 when I had my first baby. I never really got to figure out who I was. I struggle with this now. Who am I apart from my kids or husband? What is my identity? I wish I was as mature as you when I was 22.

I have gone no contact with a toxic parent as well. It is like cutting cancer from your body, heathy and freeing. I wish you would please do a video talking a little bit more about this. As much as you’re comfortable sharing anyhow. I think a lot of people have very toxic parents that they feel indebted to because they are “family” to keep them in their lives. But there is definitely a point where you need to choose yourself. I would love to hear more about this from your perspective and experience.

So glad to see that you are getting to know yourself. An amazing person like you doesn't need someone in their lives to destroy their self esteem. I agree with you about cutting all ties with an ex. I was married 20 years and this man was a liar, cheater (3 different times) and we divorced so I cut all ties. I discovered I was better than that and I deserved better. You are using good sense and keeping true to yourself. So proud of you and love you bushels.

I 100% understand when you say that your opinions of yourself do not project onto your perception of other people…and when you say “I’ll probably regret it at some point but long term I believe it’s a good choice” I find myself saying that ALL THE TIME. ❤❤❤❤

Amen to cutting ties with toxic family members (dads). I cut mine out unfortunately after my daughter was born because realizing the love I had for her was so great that he clearly could never feel that for me as his child. we no longer talk and it hurts but one of the best decisions I could make for me and my daughter.

As a note to the cheating I am glad you found out as I think it would have continued and been worse. From personal experience, I was married 19 years...he up and left for a job at a prior employer supposedly to further his career for us. The draw was not the career but the secretary he had been screwing likely for quite a while. She was married and knew that he was too. He drained our bank account taking her places. I have been divorced 8 years now and I quite literally trust no one. Betrayal is awful and I truly hope no one ever has to feel the way it makes me feel. I am so happy that you had the strength to end it and move forward without getting hurt far more.

Such a hard decision to come to much so much relief when you do it

As a mom, I think you should try to use your degree in a “traditional” job setting. It’s worth it to try to use your degree for at least a year. That way you would never wonder if you could have done something else. If it doesn’t work out later, then at least you can say you tried the experience, and liked/ or didn’t like it. Besides the fact that you tube is still “media, tv”. Viewers are very fickle. Which I’m sure you already know. So to think that you tube can sustain you and pay your bills forever, is not realistic. There are tons of “famous” Hollywood stars who also have their degrees or experience in other things (just in case).

Hi! So my boyfriend of over a year broke up with me last week, and then i found out he cheated on me the night before. My issue is that we have all of the same friends, the same group, and we hang out at all of the same places. We are also in the same Catholic Youth Organization and in that on the same leadership team, so no contact kind of isn’t an option for me.
