I love that you added the smaller battery and I would immediately get that model with smaller battery, but then I found out the battery won't be waterproofed like the other batterys. Is there any chance you could do the same kind of waterproofing with this smaller battery? I know it adds like 200 grams, but it would be worth it imo. I'm from Germany and it always rains over here. Having a bit more protection from water damage is an amazing seeling point.

Been using the Tynee Mini 2 from last year for a year now... 2,000 kilometers and still going strong. I got the bigger battery option and I'm telling you, it was worth every single dollar. Having ~30km range with the 105mm cloudwheels while riding at ~25kph is priceless (75kg rider). Fun fact: a car drove over the board, with both the rear and the front wheel, and the board is intact... That thing is built like a tank. One thing is for sure: Tynee all the way for me from now on.

I think the idea behind the belt cover when the wheels selected are hydro may indicate that the cover is intended to add splash water resistance. But if sand can get in and stay in, I would think it could promote wear if not cleaned out regularly.

I got the Mini 3 pro and it really is too much power for me. If you are doing crazy hills, I can see maybe you need the power, but its so much power, its harder to control. I wish I got the normal Mini 3 just because normal sized motors may be easier to control. If you twitch on the throttle, it can throw off your balance and its scarey. Its funny that you said speed mode 1 is enough, i felt the same thing. I dont even want to know what 4 is like. The GREAT thing about this board is that you can customize the remote to respond differently, which I knocked the power way down and its easily controllable now. So, I think the power is not needed by me at all. I assume smaller motors use less power, so that and cost are my reasons. For me, big battery is required, I ride miles along the beach and need it. So, big battery is a huge deal to me, I do not care about weight. Also, the hydro wheels arent that different, so I got the offroad kit to try the 150 air wheels, and they are great, but the trucks for the offroad kit shove the rear axle back so far you cannot use the kicktail and the kicktail is required, so I also bought the wide axles that were not pushed back so I can use the kicktail with big wheels. So, that will arrive soon hopefully, and I may have a nice small board I like with big 150mm air wheels. I may switch to 165mm rovers. I dont like air tires already. The board is also a bit high up with the offroad kit. I am going to lower it, which is easy by removing the risers. I love the options, this is a really nice board and the price is good and the battery is good. The power is crazy. Its exciting, but I dont need it and debate even buying the smaller motors. I really like the board.

Yeah. For most people, the Tynee mini 3 is totally enough. The Tynee mini 3 is a good balance, not too heavy but has long range and great torque, and the Tynee mini 3 pro is more suitable for riders who are heavy or frequently need to climb hills and require extreme torque.

With the Track Width, I'm seriously considering how I want to put Hollow Wheels on the thing & see how it feels close to looking like an F-1 car..... With that range, I would absolutely use it as a commuter board. Though honestly, it's going to be quite a while before I can personally afford that setup.... Which I really want to try. Also, having an OuterNative JackBag is an exceptionally nice way to consolidate weight.... Jacket+Bag.... It's really a breakthrough, especially when you get the Sports model with the padding for the Back, Elbows, & Shoulders.

Not 100% agree with weight. Of course I want them to be as light as possible, but on the other hand like you said, you get more range and need to charge em less -> longer battery life (less lifecycles used). But it's personal. I always wanted a Stoke competitor with better range. What would be a nice thing for some is a flight approved battery maybe. This would give everyone the option. Either light or heavy (less or more range). But it's all personal as you say. But it's so damn high (the risers indeed). Pity they don't have at least lower options. I don't get the AT setup on this kind of board. To me, I want a fun maneuverable board like the Stoke. Awesome video as always amigo 🤙

🤙🏼⚡⚡🤙🏼 *I'm comparin Tynee Mini 3 to the new Acedeck Mini to decide on my next mini.* Acedeck has somethin other than just power, it has a wider deck and I think wider truck, which is more interestin to me than more power. Interestin look at the app for the Tynee. The customisation ability in the app seems really thorough, some useful features. Would be good to have more boards with optional removable belt covers but like you say, that part of the board takes a lotta hits. Weird that the belt cover only comes with 105s wheel option for the Mini 3 but I suppose with less ground clearance od 90s that makes sense 😂 But interestin thing about the width of the truck bein different. Agree that it can look a lil off when the difderence is quite a fair bit. Would be more useful for the puck to be clear for the brake light. The battery bein so big becomes a problem the heavier a board gets, agreed, under 9kg for a mini is my preference usually, maybe 9.5kg now cos it's becomin more common to see bigger batteries on minis. I wish more brands would leave cutout holes for the deck bolts with foam grip tape, nice to see Tynee do that. Thanks for sharin the bushing info! Stuff like that is super interestin to me, I'm very curious about their choice to have the road side bushing noticeably taller. Really enjoyed this deep dive longer video! 🤙🏼🤙🏼 We need to see more of Keith 😂 I missed his backfire videos when he was gone man.

If we tighten the truck very loosely, the 105mm wheel may have a little wheel bit, because the torque of the Mini 3 is very strong. To me that's a pro rather than a con. Bought tynee mini because they use more generic but proven components. The modularity or costumisability to make the board my own is a pleasure. Esk8s are pushed to its limits when used compared to other PEVs so the easy ability to use other brands to modify and replace stuffs when they break is just another peace of mind. Your mileage may vary ofc just my opinion.

100% agree rasing range and top speed is useless at this point and as someone who uses a longboard to travel everywhere i go ive never needed more than 25km ranges

Long story short, i need a minimum of 25 miles... I live in a small rural area and it is 11 miles to town, so 25km would never work. My Hadean has a 40 mile range, which gives me about 14 miles extra by the time I get all my business done and return home... The world is full of diversity, and what works for you may be completely unacceptable in different situations ...

@@roberthudson4440 25 miles is more than enough for you. Charge it at work. If you're traveling 24 miles to work it's still enough. Nobody traveling that far should be using an e board.

This i see is a "glorified" boosted mini x with extra punch. The board alone looks like a mini x with upgraded parts.

Kicktail is too tiny. No nose either. Would need a deck-swap for these reasons. Aside from that the specs are great! Just a shitty deck.

Closing the drive belts slots are to me so obvious. Why most companies don't do it? Your voice sounds strained.

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

How is more range and power not a good selling point? I'm pretty sure the whole reason new boards even come out in the first place is to reach the goal of unlimited range and power (not literally) without compromising the size of the deck or weight. Yeah sure it's great to have customized features in an app but at the end of the day we all want that one board that has no limit to power and range in the smallest sized package as possible.

Not the most innovative board in the world. It is _heavily_ inspired by the Boosted Mini X. 🪞🛹
