Overnight Truck Camping in a TORNADO WARNING w/ My Son

Today we went on an overnight truck driving adventure to deliver a load down south of us. We like trucking at night time because we don't have to deal with traffic and weigh stations are almost always closed. But overnight truck driving can be really hard because your brain wants to shut down and put your body to sleep while driving. On top of being super tired and running late to our delivery we had a tornado warning. Truck driving is hard sometimes with all of these obstacles we face when trying to get a load delivered from point a to point b but its always better with my little buddy. At the end of this video something kinda bad happened that was really shocking and annoying.

Hey if u want to be a owner operator will u make more money if u own a pre owned truck and trailer that potentially will break down or lease from a company ?

That’s a really good question to be asking! It really just depends on the equipment you’re buying or leasing. I personally but used trucks, but it has its downside, usually have to put a nice chunk of money into them over time as things go bad. With leased they take care of all that. Honestly I think it’s safe to say that either way works out to be about the same costs.

@@guyinatruck see I am only asking this b/c I am a Doordash driver rn and I own my own car if I were to lease a car I would make 30 percent less ! Also if u buy the truck and resell it in 2 years u will get ur money back ! Thank u for ur response 👏
