Great video! I was at River Country with my family in 1985. We loved it!

We took our kids to Disney World in 1997....River Country was on the agenda🏞️. We enjoyed it very much. Blizzard Beach was fairly new, we spent a day there as well🏂.

Little late here … The DVC Reflections Resort was pretty much abandoned due to the unpredictability of what was to become of the World, from the pandemic. At that point in time, due to the parks being shut down, movies not being released in theaters, etc., Disney was not bringing in much revenue. Eventually, instead of abandoning the project, the DVC resort concept, was shifted to the Polynesian Resort, wiping out the much beloved Spirit Of Aloha area. If you compare the concept art of the proposed Reflections Resort, with the new Polynesian DVC tower, they are quite similar. Though it does not match the styling of the Polynesian Resort. Oh well!

Hey Emily! Happy belated Halloween to you. Sorry I’m late to watch this. I love your Sleepover videos. I get ti see how the resorts look and get a good idea which is the best. I didn’t wear a costume this year but I did wear my pumpkin t shirt yesterday. I wore it to MNSSHP this year. Jack and Sally thought I should make it look more rotten and have bugs on it. I need to work on that. Anyway, great Vlog as always and happy November to you and congrats on 60K on IG! Also, the titles in the Vlog gives me Friday The 13th vibes.

I loved River Country. I went when I was 8 years old. I had a fabulous day except for falling off a ledge that you take a zip line off of. I felt hurt from falling so far but I wasn’t really injured. I also lost my inter tube on a water ride. That was scary. Thinking back on it I can’t believe we were there due to alligators. It kind of freaks me out, but I’m guessing they knew there weren’t gators in the area.

Absolutely doing this for a themed visit, all the content!!😍👻

Wow! River Country! Haven't thought about it in years. We used to go every summer during the early/mid 80s. It was THE BEST. Too bad they closed it down. The theming was never duplicated.😥

Love these video and seeing what all the resorts layouts are. Makes vacation planning easier and adds to the bucket list. Our Halloween Costume was on the 25th at the MNSSHP we got tshirts that said Mummy & Deady. We announced our pregnancy on our vacation @ the castle. Can’t wait for Halloween next year. Due May 21st 23 but won’t be back to the parks until 2024 ❤

When I was little we did go to River Country, and one of those times I stepped in a weird bug worm and made me had fever ; I had to go to the first aid station. They injected something to help. But it was a fun water park for its time.
