My family of 4 uses a ground tent. I use a hitch cargo carrier and roof rack for storage. Keep the Setpower fridge in the back of the Bronco Sport. Right now we don’t power station so we stay at state parks with full power. Just getting the little ones out in the woods right now and making memories. Thanks for the video Matt!

That is what it is about. We all can get caught up in the gear, but just having safe fun and making memories is the point.

@@MikaelErminger I replied to your email. But for those who wont see that, developing bags for the bronco in that specific area is going to be more complicated because there just isn't the same amount of room inside the cabin as in the Jeep. It will be a challenge for sure. Not saying I wont do it at some point in the future but there needs to be enough demand to warrant it and there just isn't quite yet.

I must have OCD because I want to reorganize Matt's and Cara's back seats. LOL. Great stuff. It's all about what works for you.

Great highlight video on setups. One of the things i love about what we do, there is no one way or best way to setup. Budget or high end builds all work. So many ways to do it. Find what works for each person and just get out and do it. Great stuff Matt.

I really like all of the builds. This video is a great example of why you are pulling in so many followers. Keep it up, brother!

My wife and I live outside Branson and are just getting into overlanding and are trying to figure it all out. We have a 2003 Jeep TJ with a cedar ridge teardrop trailer. We are going to be at overland expo mountain west in August so this video definitely helps to know what others are using. I enjoy seeing all the new gear from the expo's but would much rather see videos like this one that showcases peoples actual setups and see what works in real world applications. Keep the videos coming we look forward to seeing what's next. Maybe a walkthrough of others setups at the expo?

Hahaha, i LIKE the off-grid trailer. BUT, starting out, all my wallet can afford will be a ground tent and hopefully a cot so my 66 y/o bones won't have to get up off the ground several times in the night 😬

Great video. I have a gladiator but I pull a M416 military trailer with a Smittybilt roof top tent. It so far has worked great for me, Also in process of restoring 1997 Jeep TJ with my kid. We can pull the little jeep trailer with that no problem either.

Those stash packs would be awesome with a high-vis orange (or other color) interior to allow for easier ID'ing of stuff.

we have been considering offering Tan and Red as our first color options once we get sales high enough to warrant multiple colors. Tan could match the leather in the roob and red to match the stitching in the roob. thoughts?

Call a minimalist but I have an air mattress and blanket; a few non perishables and a plastic tub for stuff like tools small butane tank, recovery stuff, and that’s pretty much it. All in my FJ.

The only problem with a truck is the dust collection in the bed when you go through desert. I know where you live is not as dusty but in California deserts you would hate it, unless you fully cover it so you don’t get dust in the bed. Btw, you got a flat on your front driver side 😂😂😂

When it comes to my set up, I’m gonna have a similar set up to your gladiator for the simple fact that I have a couple of years newer gladiator myself and I will be using a couple the goodies that you have on yours like the extrusion rack and suspension lift

That was a different tent. The iKamper is brand new and it’s longer and fits me much better.

Clayton Off-road rear track bar. It has a bend for a larger spare.

That's a neat trailer. Do you use any kind of wheel lock, or other device to deter/hopefully prevent someone stealing it when it's left unattended?

Did you re-gear the gladiator and wrangler for the 38’s?

These are great rigs but none work for a family that wants to overland. That is why I run a modified GMC Yukon XL with an off-road pop up camper with room for kids and gear. All of these overland channels have awesome rigs, but none focus on family friendly adventure.

I’m running a Disco 4 (LR4) in the UK 🇬🇧. Its the same with any vehicle, if it’s looked after properly it looks after you. I’ve had a Freelander and a Disco 2 in the past with minimal issues. Whatever truck you decide on I hope you have many happy travels.

The maintenance, repair, and parts costs plus labor on a Defender is ludicrous
