At last, after multiple attempts, we were able to push through with camping at Sayong Campsite. The place is located at Norzagaray, Bulacan, just 2-3 hours away from Quezon City. We left home at 6 in the morning just so we can still cross the river. Usually when the dam releases water, the river gets too high and current gets too strong, its no longer passable by any land vehicle. Sayong campsite has no electricity but they provide solar lights at night. They have phone signals. You can pitch a tent or rent a kubo. They have a sarisari store where you can buy basic needs. If you dont have a 4x4, you can still cross using a balsa. They also offer cave tour and horse back riding.
