Its a bit odd with these uploads. I like to see placings and points after each event, I don't think that info has been included.

Would the lift be dismissed if they decided to perform a split jerk?

I don't think so, Licis and Kearney both use the split jerk. It works well with somebody who cannot match someone like Eddie on monstrous power, so they take advantage of their lighter weight to move under the bar rather than lift it up. It is kind of an admission of lack of oomf but there is no shame in competition.

Not everyone can do the split jerk. My push press is stronger than split jerk.

@@mr.hakimi07 anyone can do it, but not everyone trains it. Split jerk doesn't make you stronger, it's a technique that if executed properly will allow you lift higher numbers over head. So if it's a numbers game(strongman competition) , why not give yourself an advantage and train with it
