overhead abaya pt. 1

Tools needed:
Measuring tape
Chalk (optional)
Pins (optional)
Scissors
Fabric (I suggest 5/6 yards) that has stretch
Sewing machine with zig zag stitch
Serger (optional)
A little patience 😁

As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatu ,How many yards of fabric? when cutting the face whole , do we cut all 4 layers at the top ?
Assalaamu Alaikum What would you add in the back for a child size overhead?
