The before and after is amazing, you can't tell it's the same paw! Poor Katie, hopefully she's walking and feeling better now, thanks to her "new" paws.

Thank you Kiko ! Oh yeah she was walking WAY better after we did this. Sorry that some the Before & Afters go by kind of quickly, we didn’t want to hold her legs up too long so she stayed comfortable, so thank you so much for still noticing them 😊

You should get one of those slings that have the 4 cut outs for their legs to slip through and then the suspend so no weight bearing for the oldies or ones with pain...would make life easier for you also 💞 bet she feels so much better after that.

Really amazing work on grooming her pads❤️😉👍! What a huge difference from before.

What a sweet girl! It must be so rewarding to help a dog feel better. I didn't know that matting in a dog's pads can cause irritation and pain. Thanks for teaching us this. Now, i can gently pass the info along to someonecelse eho might need that. Not all dog owners are knowledgeable.

I miss my Springer Remington. He was a good boy. I had to keep him shaved, especially in the winter otherwise he was one big snowball.

Wouldn't it be safer for the dog, if you use a small pair of rounded scissors and just carefully trim the hair? (It appears that the outer layer of the pads on her feet has been bruised off with the shaving off of the hair, and that would make her feet more tender and sensitive to hot pavements, pebbles on the ground, etc.,). Also, wouldn't it be more comfortable, especially for an older dog, to trim the hair while the dog is in a resting position (like lying on his/her side, with his/her legs extended straight outward)?
