Sounds about right. The waves where I get new high scores aren't ones where I do exceptionally well, but ones where my 3 teammates do exceptionally well.

This rotation was really fun

i have a lot of things to say so i'm just gonna put em all in one place. by section with my thoughts. enjoy this inflation to your ego 271 ht seeking: using the grizzco charger on high tide to instantly open all the gushers is genius lt: damnnnn every swing of that slosher was done with INTENT! every single shot counted! incredibly slick ht: just utterly shocked by how well your team cleans up, and how you INSTANTLY can tell when you need to break out the special. it can be very easy to waste one of those 223 - seeing the pros miss bomb throws is strangely reassuring :sob: i know its just a matter of practice makes perfect but eugh - both those reefslider uses.........MWAH ht grillers: its incredibly satisfying to be able to kill those things efficiently but its even MORE satisfying when every single egg makes its way to the basket. and damn props to the slosher on this wave they were slaying nt seeking: I'VE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE BLOCK THE GOLDIE WITH A WAVEBREAKER BEFORE THAT'S AWESOMEEEEEEEE nt: i've also never seen someone use the inkjet to get on top of the basket for extra height! that's really cool. also lol maws

All impressive I watched some live also. Love hearing the VC audio so in sync, you are a great group of friends. Well done on the scores. Take care.

I managed to get up to Eggecutive VP for the first time on this rotation, and even got up to max points (99/99). Definitely going to lose it once I start playing with the normal rotation but it was really fun whilst it lasted lol

Beautiful coordination! I especially liked how you blocked the Goldie with the Wave. Didn't know that was a thing. Sometimes you underestimate how dangerous Maws can be. As it camps your landing .😅 Is there a way to manipulate snatchers? Are there ways to guarantee they fly over the basket? Is there a Discord that is a level below overfishing? I want to experience HLM at least once in Splatoon 3. Freelance is too chaotic.

Thank you! Snatchers can't be manipulated like that unfortunately. They spawn from a set location (usually 4 different ones per stage, exact can be found here: salmon-learn-nw.gungee.jp/ ), but the location used for each wave is just random sadly. Golden rotation on this map was amazing, easy climb to 999 with a team and I got my first 200 score. Now if I can just do that on a regular rotation.

Try hitting something with a lot of the shots. 3 of the recticles somewhat on the right are close to each other, use these for focussed damage at longer distances. At melee distance, all the shots can hit the same target. If that target is a big shot, good job it's probably dead. If that target is a single job, congrats you wasted all 7 arrows on one enemy.

Hang on, does spamming horizontal slashes with Grizzco Splatana do more damage than doing charge attacks?

Charge attacks are pretty overkill for how long they take to perform in most cases. Slaps do 200, which is enough to quickly 2 or 3-shot most anything that gets close to you. You should mostly reserve charges for when you need to pierce an armored/healthy boss, or have time to wait for something to come to you (Scrappers, Drizzlers and Grillers are prime examples of both). As for Goldies, I've often noticed when I do a charge on them, they only drop one egg. I'm not sure if they take wildly reduced damage from it or if there's just some kind of cap on how much health they can lose at once. Either way, 6 slaps can do just as much damage nearly as fast without leaving you totally vulnerable.

Charges technically do more damage but leave you much more vulnerably, and as PerfectDarkly said, it's usually way overkill.

The cooldown from the vertical basically ruins it, since you lose DPS for catching up with the Goldie. As well as the damage being overkill sometimes

I would say a few. Thankfully this fishstick is far enough from basket to not disturb egg running there, as well as there being plenty of eggs closer to basket than those would've been, but it probably costed a few still

It's something often referred to as charge cancel, where you switch between your sub and main weapon. Making sure to always hold both during the switch: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dq13w8Gme5Seado.html It just looks especially funky on GStamper for some reason
