When you are hurt by someone it cuts deep. Try to remember that everyone has a basket and it gets good and bad stuff in your basket. Try to remember that the person that hurt you also has a basket with good and bad stuff in it. It can help you pray for them instead of hating them. 29:44

I have been a Christian for 38 years and a pastors wife for 37 years. I have struggled off and on with being close to God and trusting Him. I have been "dry" and unable to feel like God can put up with me any longer. Pastor Robert, your transparency gave me SUCH hope that God isn't disappointed in me. That was just another lie from the destroyer. Thank you SO very much!!!! I am forever grateful for you and your ministry!!!

Ma'am, have you ever listened to Pastor David Wilkerson sermons? He's all I've been listening to for yrs now. He's also helped me get closer to God when I felt distant and dry in the past. We all go through that . Don't be so hard on yourself , God will never get tired of you , he never changes, he didn't give us his only son to give up on us, he will never leave us, he fights for us everyday because he said that his kingdom is not of talk but of power , no one can snatch us out of his powerful hand and strong arm, he is heavens armies and is Jehovah Sabaoth, he is our warrior, don't listen to Satan, he's lying to you, get up every morning and tell the holy spirit to breath into your dry bones and to activate your faith in Jesus name, you are the daughter of the king and he loves you. He didn't bring you this far to dump you, so get up, pick up your sword and speak out God's word over your life, you know who you are in Christ Jesus. This is the end of times, we all need each other, it's not the time to quit, it's time to fight the good fight, Jesus is coming back for his bride do not get left behind sister!!! Satan has been defeated in Christ Jesus!! Just start with a good crying out to the Father for repentance and get back up, he tells us that a righteous man falls but gets back up sister!! So get up !! ⏳️THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" (On earth, that is, the final purpose of My work and what level I must achieve in this work before it becomes complete. I have been doing My work on earth for thousands of years, and until this day I am still doing My work for it. So now, at a time when many people have long failed in their hopes I still continue in My work, continue in My work I should do judge and punish people. The function of My judgment will give man the ability to obey Me better, and the function of My punishment will allow man to change more effectively. That's because I wanted to make all the nations outside of Israel as obedient as the users, and make them real people so I hold land outside of Israel. This is My rule, this is the work I fulfill among the Gentile nations. The work that I have managed for thousands of years is completely lived in only one man at the last day. I just opened the entire mystery of My rule on people. I have revealed to man all My mysteries hidden for over 5,900 years. Who is Jehovah? Who is the Messiah? Who is Jesus? My work revolves in these names. How should My name be done in any of the countries that call Me by any of My names? I was sexually abused from a toddler till I was 12. It ruined my life in so many ways. I accepted the Lord at 8, but didn't know enough to grow. I came back to Him st 21 and at 28 I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He walked me through forgiveness and healing. He DRAMATICALLY healed me from self loathing and shame. God is our healer. He loves us. Let Him do the work in you

Who He is and what He has done for you. Ask for forgiveness for any lies you are believing about Him. Ask Him to help you see with His eyes and Love with His heart. Ask Him what may be blocking or interfering in your relationship with Him. Anything in your life that is keeping you from hearing Him. Seek Him first with your whole heart. He is Worthy. But wanna take they life or do the same to someone else as it was done to them -- our job is to tell our story!! To give god the glory " of how god fix's a bad & broken situation -- in made it all good

GOD uses the most broken people to do his work.

My wife and I are on the verge of divorce. I’ve left and we have been separated since mid-August because of verbal and emotional abuse. I believe the root of it all is childhood abuse. Please pray that she will find some way to speak to someone, somewhere about this. I have asked her to tell me what happened but she can’t. Holy Spirit, please make a way where there seems to be no way.

Thankyou for sharing this testimonie . It wasnt easy I know . Your testimony is a great weapon aganst satan and I know you have saved many couples relationships through this crushing testimony. This is probably the most important thing in your life that you have done to bare yourself out there and testifie your life and finally set yourself free . Im so greatfull you you came to Gods table and told your story . You shall truly be set free and be at peace with the past. You are a vessel of God . We need to hear from people who have been through the same tormenting times that you have experienced because its only people like you who can understand the pain others are going through . And it gives them hope that if you can get through it and make a way into the light at the otherend then so can they . You being a very busy pastor people dont realise that people of God get attacked the most because Satan is out for you the day you were born knowing the plans that God had for you . He really tried to wreck your life but he lost big time because now through your pain and your steadfast love in Christ Jesus he has lost the battle . Your great victory over the devil is that you have won souls to Christ and they will be healed in Jesus name . If you had not testified this many couples in your church would not have survived their marriage. But with your help and guidance they now have hope in restoring their relationships . Pastor Robert, I jutce upon your testimony, and I thank you for sharing, I was physically abused by my father sexually abused by my oldest brother from age 9 to 12, for 53 years I wasn’t able to talk about, is a matter of fact, I have built a wall around me, I think it was a way for me not to be hurt by any memory of it, but I became so insensitive towards people, even affected my marriage for so long, I married at 19, and took control of marriage, I was not let nothing or no one hut me again, I have been saved for almost 7 years and I haven’t dealt with that wound before, thank you for your testimony, we think we we are the only people to suffer such things, but unfortunately is the most common thing, children don’t know how to ask for help and that’s a root of many issues in a relationship, thank you for the courage to give your testimony, it will help many who listen to you. Thank you so so much for this message. I’m 27 years old. I was molested for 4 years as a child. It haunted me for a long time. A month ago, I met someone who prayed for me to be healed and delivered. @@eaglea657 the enemy would have us to believe it is “like jumping off a cliff” but the truth is that it is a step of faith that is fully covered and secured by Jesus and his overwhelming love for you. This testimony took me to the place where I was holding my life with weary and quivering hands. Feeling like if I relinquished control only chaos would ensue. I saw in every part of my being my fear of trusting. God is not a human that He would falter but my soul held its guard. Holy Spirit whispered to me, “recall His goodness. Recall His extravagant love.” I stand here looking at the cliff waiting for my soul to let go. You are not alone. Challenge His goodness, watch for His love to overtake you. Maybe we will step off that cliff at the same time. ❤️‍🩹

@violingirl5570 I too was abused as a young child and it affected me more than I cared to ever admit. I thought I delt with it pretty good as an adult until it was relevant that I hadn't. Seeking Lord Jesus with all my heart and getting born again is the only thing that helped me to put that evil in the past where it happened. After some time I was able to really forgive my attackers. But that was only because of the love in Jesus that I could. God bless you in this journey young one and remember Jesus will never forsake you or leave you when you're a child of God. When we talk about our trauma it always starts with what happened to our parents first. Shows that trauma is generational. What a powerful story.

I came across this message and Holy Spirit recently had me understand that in 1973 3rd grade my teacher verbally abused me for the whole year. I'm on the healing journey now.

I give myself to Jesus. I give up control and I give myself to Him. Amen.

One of the main reasons I have followed Gateway for years is because of the transparency of Pastor Robert Morris. It is so needed and authentic. Thank you for being obedient to the Holy Spirit and sharing something so personal. You didn't dishonor your mom yet exposed the truth of what happened.

As someone who experienced A LOT of trauma as a child, I needed this reminder to surrender my life back to my Savior! I can’t do it on my own. I’ve tried.

I know I agree, it’s very powerful. Its amazing how breakthrough can trickle down. I shared this video with someone who wanted deliverance, she was definitely ministered to as I thought she would because I felt being ministered to when I watched it. She also said she shared it with another friend and this friend also was ministered. We all related to Pastor Morris one way or another, true most of us had some kind of trauma and not all of the healing comes form first time we meet Jesus. This will help so many to seek that deeper relationship and deeper healing they need as Christians 👍🙏

Hello Pastor Robert, I needed this so bad. I was abused from age 5-15 then when I got grown I have been married 4 times, I have come out when I was 49. It's still hard, I don't trust anyone, been single since 2013. I'm a Christian and I love Jesus with my whole heart, but I still battle my past. I know my marriages didn't last because of my past. I'm 61 years old now I was sexually abuse abuse going through schools I had mental problems with school and when I got older it got worse I tried to cover it up the drugs and then I met some people that told me about Jesus then I met a man her kids from this man but then later I found out he was already married and he never told me took the kids for about 10 years old I can go on and on this is the first message I have heard a pastor ever talking about this thank you so much

I know this message is several months old but we recently starting going to gateway again after being at home after the pandemic. I heard this message at such a timely time in my life. I’m so over and DONE with my trauma impacting my life. While I am saved , I know the control is what I needed to let Jesus have. The drivers seat is best occupied by the only one worthy of a license, which is Jesus. Thank you Papa God for revealing the beautiful masterpiece of healing through my trauma. Oh my, I had been crying all morning, didn't go to church. It seems past trauma of rejection hitting me again from all angles. This message found me, praise God. Trauma from the womb and then through years even after salvation 😮... painful. Thank you for your ministry. I am a pastor in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil, and the Lord just ministered to me. I got up and stretched my hands with the congregation, and the Lord just showed up in my living room. He is in the process of healing my heart from trauma and insecurity since six years old due to an abuse. Since then, I unwittingly blamed my mother for leaving me alone, and my father for not being there for me. Those chains came down last night when I forgave them both. I can't thank you enough. U know some things, depending on severity, can take a long time to dig out these deep roots. I was molested by 4 different people as a child. I was never allowed to talk about it. I gave my life to God at 17. Within a year or so the memories of abuse surfaced in dreams. It was rough. I sought counseling. I had experienced the holy spirit baptism like amazingly. I was hooked. Lol. I am 42. Still going through healing. It comes and goes. It's very hard when abuse impacts your life and keeps you bound. Jesus sets us free in increments because there is so much needed. I believe how messed up we are actually qualifies us to minister 😅 I can love and minister to a child who was molested or to a girl that's been raped. I have done this in ministry before. So me being messed up has qualified me to speak to those broken hearted in same areas

This is the most healing , helpful , real life sermon I have ever heard. I’m still trying to figure out how to completely surrender my life to Jesus. I’m not gonna lie and say I’m there after this . But I will say I believe Pastor Robert Morris helped me tremendously move past some of the DEEPEST HURTS I’ve endured that I know has been holding me in the past for over 30 years.

This is just so powerful! I have never heard of this pastor...I am going through healing from trauma. My first marriage ended because of my trauma. Now God is healing me for my next marriage.

God bless you. Pastor Robert is awesome. Derek Prince has some good videos on deliverance as well. Be warned, when you are delivered from evil spirits, they come back. Your house, your body/mind etc needs to be filled with the word of God so they can't come back once you're delivered from the evil spirits that attach themselves to us from trauma. May God bless you. In Jesus's mighty name I decree peace and healing over you.

I desperately need that Healing, but I can’t find it. I’ve had trauma that would make your skin crawl, break your mind, body and spirit, and crush your soul. The worst is the unrelenting shame I feel for things I had absolutely no control over, many things I can never even speak of to anyone. It’s always there to put its foot on my neck and remind me of what I am- worthless. Countless hours of Bible study, prayer and church haven’t been able to help me break free. Of course church has been the source of some of the worst trauma, abuse and betrayal, it almost cost me my life. Whatever, who cares, I just don’t want to die drowning in this shame, going to the hell I deserve. God I am sorry, I need you, I need Jesus, please save me even in my worthlessness. I am done. I can’t live this way anymore. God can’t the Good News be for me too?

I’ve been through much of the same. Two avenues/resources that have been invaluable in my healing. “Where we find ourselves” podcast. Christian therapist who specializes in trauma and understands the spriritual battle we are in. And Mark DeJesus ministry(KZread channel) - he helped me get to my root of shame. Jesus will heal what we revealed. As a child we never fully know what our parents went through to cause us to experience the childhood we have, but God graciously unveils for our healing and freedom. Pastor Robert, this is THE time for this message, delivered just as you did! There is an epidemic of out of control behaviour and so much of it stems from overcompensating for trauma and abuse which has been handed down, reckless living, Godless living is creating a society that is lost and I pray for them. This message will open a door that will not only heal those to whom you are speaking but, will ripple outwards and touch others. Unforgiveness has been my stumbling block, early childhood trauma that causes mistrust has made it very difficult to fully trust God, especially when He was misused against you as a child. Your testimony has touched me deeply and I will be healed, I am 66 and it’s not too late! Praise God!💕🙏🏼🇨🇦

About me, the problems I'm dealing with right now are most likely from the abuse I dealt with as a young boy and teenager. And more sexual abuse in 2020. (When I was 22, turning 23.) I am about to listen to this video. Anyway I'm having an issue with anxiety or something like that, and it's affecting my physical health now, so I'm just about to see a counselor and see if I can overcome the trauma that's messing me up. It's like my brain needs to be re-wired. Hopefully counseling will get my mind "re-wired." I'm reaching out to a few brothers in the church as well, but I need to see a professional counselor.

The Lord's mercies are new every morning. God is moving in the world, bringing Justice, exposing evil, healing and bringing salvation. Thank you, Robert for your transparency.

So powerful! Sharing our story changes lives. Some people shared their stories at church and my husband and I received personal healing and it transformed our relationship with the Father, each other and our family! Keep testifying!!

I don't know why this popped into my feed except it is God. My husband is divorcing me. No Biblical reason but mainly because of how we injured each other with abusive ways. But for the past two years God has healed me internally....but my husband still carrying a lot of things. Won't see me or hardly talk to me. However God revealed as I've prayed every day that what happened in his childhood has been the root of this. He's trying to be in a church and Christian wherever he is, but yet rejects me ...even the forgiveness. So this message has me torn inside. At this point, it is only the Spirit of God that can turn his heart around.

My family didn't know Jesus and they were all miserable. Without Jesus life is miserable.

Thank You Jesus for this much needed message! “We overcome by the Blood of The Lamb and words of our testimony” Revelation 12:11

This is a message that came at the right time in life. It’s 8:49 eastern standard time. I went through physical abuse, verbal abuse. My father was abused as a young child. He carried that over to me , my mother, my brother and myself. I was the focal point of his abuse. I protected my mother and brother at a young age. I am seeing a counselor even now. We know that Jesus is the wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the prince of peace. Only he can do this. In step 3 of Alcoholics Anonymous it says “I have given my will and my life over to the care of God as I understood him”. Childhood trauma is unmanageable. But the Bible says “there is nothing new under the sun”. Philippians 4 says “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God. And the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and your mind through Jesus Christ our Lord”. Thank you for this message. Amen🙏

I'm a recovering addict of 32 years and I asked my son to let me have 10.00 so I can have heroin in my system that was 2011 I began methadone program I was dosing at 110 milligrams a day and I started to detox my dose by 2 milligrams a week until I was down to 0 milligrams and I have been clean since I never turned back it now2023 and I am still clean all Praises be to the Lord I need prayers to start a rehab home and get a job from home I want to give something back ❤ ❤🙏🫂 God Bless you all Brenda Martin

Hi my name is Anna , I feel your pain , I’m so sorry for all you endured. You’re in my prayers, Keep your eyes on Jesus and be obedient. I finally became obedient Aug16 of this year and I rededicated my life to God, and three days later he healed me of 5 addictions. He healed from many diseases. I love you very much. I asked God , show me how you love my mom and dad. He said I love your mom, dad, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson etc so much I gave my only begotten son Jesus Christ for your sins. So you wouldn’t die but have ever lasting life. I realized both my mom and dad did the best they could with what they had to work with. My dad admitted what he did to me and said I had every right to hate him. I said I don’t hate you I hate what you did to me. It’s effected my life more than you’ll ever know. When he admitted what he did to me it felt like a thousand pounds of dirty kitty litter lifted from my soul. I didn’t feel ashamed and dirty. When I came home my mom said I seduced him. I said I must have been quite the little temptress at 2 1/2 years old. I didn’t talk with her for 4 months and we just lived a couple of blocks away. Jesus has healed me and is still transforming me because I’ve been obedient. I never knew I was a control freak. I’ve turned over control today. I have no control over anything, anyone but myself. I turn Everything over to my Heavenly Father. He knows me better than I know myself. He loves you that much as well. He wants to hold you in his arms and gently kiss your tears away. He can turn the worst thing that ever happened to us into good. When my cousin raped me when I was 29 my family wanted nothing to do with me, even my mom took his side. But God took that horrible event and he healed me. I was like my. Everest, with a 150 mile deep ice cap. . When he raped me it knocked that ice cap off spewing poisons and toxins from 27 years of abuse. Every person that traumatizes a child was traumatized them selves as a child. It doesn’t excuse it , but it explains why they did what they did. My mom has scares from the beatings she got from her dad, my dad was also severely traumatized as well. My first husband was my mom my second husband was my dad, he abused my daughter. I tried to kill him. God bless you sweetheart. ✝️🙏🥰

Pastor Robert, Thank you, for not only message, but the humility in your delivery. I am guilty, as many, of assuming that neglect, abuse, and trauma, are limited to those of certain ethnicities, income class, or any other divisive element. Your message has touched me deeply. I've never spoken of my childhood experiences, and my entire family immediately closed that book at the time itwas revealed. It brought shame to the family, so there has been no one that I oculd turn to for comfort. I've held that pain and embarassment, for over 40 years. It is so important for us to confront our trauma, not waiting a lifetime to deal with the pain. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, when I wa about 11 years old, before the trauma, which made it more difficult to accept that this allowed to happen to me. I am a strong man, a man of great faith, but it still plagues me to this day. My prayers go out to all of my brothers and sisters, young and old, who are dealing with pain and memories of abuse.

I grew up with a father who was physically abusive, drugs and alcohol, and a mother who had suffered childhood sex abuse. I am still, decades later, healing slowly but surely from these repercussions. There was little protection from other violators. I run back to Jesus time and time again. Thank you Pastor Robert, for being vulnerable enough to share these hard experiences and thank you for the blessings of healing, forgiveness, and recovery. Praise God's Love, in Jesus' name.

Thank you, Pastor Robert. I had a rough childhood in and out of homes. I feel like the root of rejection has been exposed and praise Jesus I can be set free! Healed and made whole! I believe it in Jesus name. Been dealing with marriage issues all stemming from the trauma i experienced as a child. I'm now 45 have a christian wife 3 beatiful daughter's. I really needed this message more than you will ever know.

Almost every kid in my neighborhood, school, church and strangers ive talked to were mentally, physically, emotionally or sexually abused including me.

I lost myself when i was 8. I was hit by a car, fracture skull swallowed my tongue and choked to death. I dont know who i am. Anyway i have been though much of this same stuff. I never gave into authority. I didnt ask God to come into my life until my 30's but i did the same. i didnt ask him to take over until very recently. I too am 61. And i am finally getting some relief.

Dear Holy Spirit, Thank you for healing Ginny’s broken heart and setting her free from the effects of the trauma and the injustice she endured. Because of Jesus I enter the courts of heaven and ask the The Honorable and Righteous Judge of Heaven and earth for justice, recompense, restoration and reparation for Ginny. Thank you for ruling in her favor and deleting the effects of the injustice and trauma she endured from her memories. Thank you Jesus for obtaining grace and mercy and for your selfless and unconditional love for her. Thank you for giving her a new and honorable identity and for restoring her innocence, dignity, value and worth. Thank you Holy Spirit for teaching her to see herself through her Heavenly Father’s eyes of kindness, respect, mercy and love. In the power, love and authority of Jesus. Amen.

Best seon I heard from pastor Robert, in the dome 30yrs. I ve heard him. The church shouldva been talking about inner healing some 40yrs ago when it began to surface in the secular world - which was some 40+ yrs ago late 70's.

It is not by coincidence I came across this word. The Lord wanted me to hear this so he could heal me. Thank you pastor Robert, I am sure many lives have been touched, including mine.

I am 54 and have not bonded with my mother or father. Not bonded with anybody really even though I was married for 26 years with 2 sons. My own family just brought devestation into my life. Including my siblings. Even my then wife and my sons. I pray that the Holy Spirit would teach, lead and guide me to overcome my past, so that I can live in victory. The thief only came to steal, kill, accuse and cause destruction. Lord Jesus Christ came to give us life more abundantly..... to restore to me joy, peace, love, faith.... all the wonderful fruits of the spirit ❤️🌹 At 54 for the first time in my life I want to truly live. My husband has said hurtful things about not wanting to be there for me in my health situation. I told the Lord " I am afraid and I cannot trust him" Then Lord quickly said to me, " But you can trust me !!" How comforting to have such a loving Father on our side. PRAYER Lord, help me to stop right here in this place and look around. Enable me in faith to see Your army and feel the strength of Your presence in this situation. You are my God, You are on my side. Help me to chase my fear away with this comforting truth. Amen.

Ive never had a pastor that has been so raw. Thank you for your transparency. I was raised in the church and never have I ever heard anyone preach about such a real experience that so many of us go through and pass to the next generation because we think we are the problem. I gave up on church years ago because I felt like I didn’t belong to this group of perfect people. This has seriously renewed my faith.

My mom had me at 42 also. She lost her dad in WW 1 at the age of 7 my dad died when I was 14 in our bathroom. I knew by kindergarten that she didn’t want me. There was many tragedies and deaths and I didn’t receive counseling or comfort or understanding from anyone in my family!My siblings are narcissists and I have never fit into the family and I was pawned off to them as I was the youngest (#7 kid) or on aunts. Every one I knew including me has been brought up in so much disfunction and I can honestly say with certainty and everything within me, oh the faithfulness of God. I have been in counseling for over 20 years!! Church on The Way… the Church counselors tried to help me but failed horribly. But Jesus did not give up on me!! Focus on the Family was instrumental in my healing during my time.

I didn't realize I was traumatized thus bad until i heard this message...I am in denial and thought I was strong enough but yet till this very moment I am broken. 36 years old and I am broken.😩💔

I hope that you're now on a healing journey with Jesus. Speaking from experience I know childhood trauma too. Once I laid that trauma at the feet of our Lord and Savior, all was revealed and healed. You are not alone in your pain and you're never alone as a child of God. Praying and claiming your healing so that you may go out and touch the hearts of others to advance the Kingdom of God. God Bless you. Btw, there's so many comments on this subject and I'm sure if someone from this message had really read your comment they would of replied to you. Thank you for sharing...I can relate.Thank you Jesus for setting us free .I was paralyzed and got my legs back to take care of the women that abused me..After hearing her story because I had no choice staring at the ceiling everyday.I choose to forgive because that same demon abused my Mother..Well I took care of her until she left the earth life..❤

I have learned so much,from,this man. I am disabled,4 cervical surgeries,3 back surgeries. I have battled Prostate Cancer,it was pretty bad. Through it all,God is good. I need Jesus,every minute of the day.

I am overwhelmed to hear this message. Trauma is real. Betrayal from those you trust is excruciating to understanding or comprehend. The pain is so deep.. thank you for sharing. The road is long but i trust I'm going to heal.

My work revolves in these names. How should My name be done in any of the countries that call Me by any of My names? Because My work is done on you, I will destroy the 6,000 years of God's reign plan is close to the end, and the doors of the kingdom have been opened for all those who seek His exhibition. Dear brothers and sisters, what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for God to appear?) Almighty God said ALL PEOPLE are CONNECTED to a PURPOSE of My WORK.
