Ive been muslim my entire life never had any doubt my believe is like 1000000 milllion certain since I was a child it was fitrah in me ... But i have a lot of struggle keeping up with prayers because im already a lazy person but alhamdu lillah Allah helped me and now I can't skip prayers I hope Allah complets my repentance Ameen

I don't know if this is exaggerating, but from my observation, most of the reverts who already went to haramain in their early years of revertion, have stronger motivation to live as a true muslim even they live in non islamic countries. May Allah guide us all not to only be a muslim, but mukmin (Al-Anfal: 2 - 4), to a muhsin (al-Qasas: 77), to a mukhlis (al-Bayyinah, 5) and meet the Almighty as a Muttaqin (al-Hujurat: 13). Aamiin.

I swear I believe this video is a gift from Allah. I have friends those often fight against each other on little fatyas & mustahabs. I think we Muslims (real believers) need to be united somehow.

MashaAllah, what a beautiful video, I wish I had watched this video when I converted to feel less lonely haha. May especially new Muslims benefit from this video, as being a convert can make you feel isolated at the beginning and it can be overwhelming! So much precious advice. May Allah increase you (and Tamu and your family) 💚 When I first became Muslim I thought everyone was just "Muslim" and didn't know about sects, and when I started noticing some Muslims (even "scholars" on KZread) putting other Muslims down it was so disappointing and discouraging. And also I was so enthusiastic about what the gift of Islam I had been given I thought my family could immediately understand if I explained it to them which wasn't the case. Like you said, working in dawah is a long process and especially at the beginning more about showing an Islamic prophetic character. Taking knowledge from a traditional reliable scholar is key (not someone who tells common folk to "follow Quran and sunnah", as if the 4 imams of jurisprudence - imam Abu Hanifa, Shafi'i, Malik and Ahmed - hadn't 😅). Another super important point was the hadith you mentioned. When someone wants to make it hard for you, they have 0 understanding of how to deal with others, especially new Muslims and new Muslims should stay away from those who make it hard for yourself. Once someone reminded me of the hadith that the most beloved action to Allah SWT is what is consistent and also that if something was affecting my faith, I should stop and again go back to my basics. Learning Islamic theology makes your faith stronger. And also working on spiritual excellence (all together with your basic jurisprudence following one school of thought) makes everything balanced in our lives. Praying that Allah grants our non Muslim families the blessing of Islam and a place together in jannah al firdous! Salaams and respect from the uk!

But most importantly, I watch the Khutbah videos from our Islamic Center’s FB page, and I learn so much from them. Today, the 21st, I am a Muslim for 7 months, and I’ve been struggling in a few of the areas you mentioned. I am really grateful for all the topics you covered, as they were very helpful, and now I don’t feel quite so bad for not progressing more quickly. You gave me some insights into what questions I need to ask, and I will email the Imam. That's very true brother. All madhabs are true. I am from indonesia and majority of us follow the shafi'i madhab. It makes to learn islam easier of course. The madhab of the Prophet (ﷺ) is what we have to follow. I recommend the book The Prophets Prayer described by Shaykh al-Albani (رحمه الله) for an authentic way of performing the prayer. Or watch Shaykh Assim hakeems video on KZread

Every topic you touched in this video made me think of giving you suggestions to you but in every single one of them you answered all the important aspect of that topic, which a new-Muslim should take care or keep an eye for, Ma Sha ALLAH. This makes my belief more stronger that "Hidaya is from ALLAH only" not from BOOKS or from any Person. I hope you excel in learning about our beautiful religion, because we need thinkers like you in Media/Social Media to represent the True essence of ISLAM, and not the shops which are selling cheap goods in the cover of our beautiful Religion. The essence of ISLAM is Pure, Good, Beautiful, Heart Warming, It can not give you something bad or something which makes you feel bad. As-salamu alaykum everyone! I am also a recent revert (I reverted last year), and I have one small recommendation for you. There is a book called Being Muslim by Asad Tarsin that provides a lot of practical, basic information for new Muslims. It lays out everything from proper etiquette between the sexes, how to perform ritual ablution, how to pray and how the Muslim calendar works. It really helped me start to understand how to practice my faith on a day-to-day basis.
