I don't know mine was not bad my teeth were straight but my top teeth were way in front of my bottom teeth and it made my jaw look ugly but I cut a straw and put in in my mouth to keep in place and it's gotten better

Story Time (I know im late) So, when I got to school the first time my teeth began to get crooked. And i got bullied for that. And I also got an overbite. So I told my parents that I need braces. I have had an overbite for a long time and I get called lots of names like Buck Tooth, Gurda Rat, Bunny rabbit, and things like that. About 6 months ago, I was offered braces for my overbite from my dentist. I was a bit younger and he said I would have to have 4 teeth removed in order to put in the braces. I refused the offer because I didn’t like the sound of having teeth removed. Hopefully I change my mind when I’m older

I envy you. My parents can’t afford braces for me and I have an overbite and I get constant jaw pain and headaches and facial exhaustion. As well as sensitivity on my bottom teeth and difficulty chewing

Proper breathing threw nose as a baby to child stage. Your tongue plays a huge role in keeping your upper and lower jaw spaced out. As a child and adult I Breathe through my mouth Hence my skinny upper palate and jaw

I have an overbite which surgery is needed to fix my jaw. Got my braces on for two years now and will undergo surgery next month. It’s not cheap tho. I’m just tired of people mocking me which caused me to be insecure about my appearance. It also makes me have low self-confidence. I’ve got mocked for my teeth since i’m 8 until 24. I’m 27 now. you will need an expander for about 2-3 months depending on how bad it is . I went to the orthondontist today and they said that I needed it for a week so I can get braces ! 😘 you will be fine . the expander doesn’t take long to put in your teeth . Same with taking it out .

This is my journey still going👍 My first crush was in 3rd grade he was a dentist's son and we sat across from each other I would play with my retainers and tease him he would always tell me stop playing(but he would smile and laugh). One day I heard he liked me then I started to like him back. my mom would tease me and joke say I have to marry him to get free stuff for my teeth😋

Im glad he said overbites can be caused by top jaw/teeth being too far forward. Everywhere online says it's only cause lower jaw is too far back. And I was confused coz my lower jaw looks normal.

Ivy Mulhern Yeah, that probably is because I have an extreme overbite and have braces for it, but usually if it’s bad enough that you can’t see your bottom teeth then your top teeth can’t protect your jaw as well as it could if it were straighter.

Really hope that someday I can get a braces to fix my overbite problem

it would be around $5400 . bc you need to pay for an expander to get your teeth to be a normal overbite and get your teeth straight using braces . You will need poweer chains and an elastic on your braces .

There is no such thing as natural overbite lol.. Malocclusion a result of long period of poor tongue posture and mouth breathing.
