I think you may find it’s all staged. At no point of this video did the bride give an indication that she did not know her own mind. The cousin had been asked to play the role of bridezilla-wanna-be. Probably because the entourage was small and it fell entirely on her shoulders to be critical and then magically change her mind at the end. It’s an old and worn show formula.

Not the ultimate control freak ... a few years ago there was a fiance who insisted on choosing his bride's dress and demeaned her in so many ways during that episode. Most commenters were telling the bride to RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS MONSTER (I think he may have been military, but not in a good way). If you can find that segment, THEN you've found the ultimate control freak because - seriously - he seemed like the type who would murder an unsubmissive wife if pushed far enough. It was downright scary.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Elsa is super jealous of her cousin, Ysela & it almost feels like she wants Ysela's fiance for herself in a weird twisted way. At any point, Elsa is a nightmare. I truly think that people who act like this have mental issues that need to be addressed, like shock therapy or something. Maid of honor is too outspoken. She can try on dresses alone. The marriage is not about looks/how you dress. She needs to say no input any more and just find the dress she likes. She was good looking in both dresses she had. Friends may not realize there are only a few dresses that maybe right/available.

This is exactly why I went alone. If I had brought my MIL, she would have criticized everything. As it was, being an older bride, I chose a bridal hat with a veil attached and she threw a hissy. My mother accepted all that I liked. And when we picked out my mom's dress, the first one was her! Don't ever bring a bossy person. Their role is to spoil your happiness.

I do have to say that I wonder what the cousin's deal is? Is she not married? No boyfriend? , She's a pretty young lady , but she is coming across with a desperate need to live vicariously through her cousin. The bride looks lovely. I pray she learns to speak up for herself more, with her groom also.

Wow. I love this show, I used to watch it all the time. I love seeing all of the beautiful dresses, I think every one of them is a work of art. I may not think every dress looks good on every girl, but I do believe there is a dress out there for every bride. I watch these girls try on these dresses that cost thousands of dollars, and chuckle when I think how I handed several yards of ivory embroidered sheer crepe and satin and a butterick pattern to a friend of mine who was a talented seamstress and said, 'this is what I want.' I married in the outdoors in the afternoon, had a knee length wedding dress and a big hat instead of a veil, and still look at those pictures and am amazed how good I looked...and it cost less than $250.00. My shoes were the most expensive part of the outfit. I wouldn't change a thing...except maybe for the husband...haha. Marriage didn't work out, but God works in mysterious ways, now married to my second husband for 27 years....🙂

While my daughter was hunting for a dress, I gave my opinion only when asked. I was not opinionated and disagreeable, I only wanted my daughter to try a ball gown at the beginning, just because and once I saw it I said okay I got the little girl dream dress out of my system. Ask the salesperson to get the dresses my daughter wanted. I cried when she cried and said she was in love with the dress. When it comes to the bride, it’s their dress, wedding and only her opinion matters.

Dang! I used to watch this show as a way to mindlessly wind down before I went off to bed. And recently there were a few gentle shows with lovely bring along people. Kleinfelds has obviously recently AND finally begun to respond to the “plus size” bride; there is quite a market for these women with the same level of $$$ to spend. I realize the shows are highly scripted. And the morning meeting is hopelessly contrived. Curvy Brides and Gok vastly exceed the SYTTD ethos. The brides are front and center and the clients are always sustained by their experiences. Al and Jo in Curvy Brides are not to be missed. Gok and Lucy and the fox in the snow episode will make your heart sing and will remind you of the good in the world. I promise you that you will never forget this episode.

Elsa is just a downright disrespectful, narcissistic, rude person, who is only interested in pleasing herself. She has no feelings, or empathy for anyone else. I have always been an outspoken person, who has no problem speaking the truth. Many People have said, They wish They could be like me, but are to afraid, to say what is the truth, but I also understand the difference, between hurting someone’s feelings, and speaking out unnecessarily, about things that they are aware of, and certainly do not need to be reminded of, like maybe having a weight problem, or a few extra pounds, or giving them, a unbiased opinion, on how a dress looks, that They’ve tried on, and They really like, and perhaps, I might not like quite as much. Some times, to be a DECENT, or kind hearted human being, People have to consider the other person’s feelings, before making a decision to voice their true feelings, and hurt someone emotionally😰 Words cut deep, and once they are spoken, They can Never be taken back, the damage is irrefutably done forever 🥺😩🥵😱🤷‍♀️ THINK 🤔, BEFORE YOU SPEAK 🗣. Once those words leave your lips, You can Not retrieve them.🥵❌☠️‼️ It is Not a game, some People have been so affected by “Words” they’ve committed suicide. None of us, have any control over what anyone else may do. However, what We All do have control over, is how we, act, speak, and how we interact, and how we, treat All People. If We are Respectful, Positive, Truthful, Caring💕, and Compassionate too Everyone with whom we interact with, then that is how other people will treat You in return, and You won’t have any Negativity in your life. The Truth is “We Reap What We Sow” “ We Get, What We Give”😃 So If You continue to put out Positivity into the World, then That is what You Will get back in Return😅❤️🥰🙏🏽 Stay FABULOUS, and Be Beautifully Blessed 💕
