⁠In the American version, the Scene Index is in the DVD Setup Menu. In the International version, the Scene Index is between DVD Setup and Behind the Hedge.

There was so much to do!

DreamWorks have to finally make a sequel to this movie, I've been waiting for years!

They put so much work into their movies!

I mean literally look at the dvd menu for Ruby Gillman teenage kraken it’s just a still image of the important characters with it showing clips of the extras on the bonus section i mean at least Disney did a fully animated menu for the physical release of wish yeah Disney finally decided to do a fully animated menu after a long time

This brings back lot of my memories.

These kind of type of nostalgic dvd menus will never be the same as of now

I remember when I was little I wanted a bag of DWK so bad something about them looked so much better than M&Ms.

As a kid, I loved Over the Hedge so much because my obsession of food made this movie just fun to watch none the less. But there was only just one problem. ONE problem. I know a lot of people might not agree with me but as a kid, this DVD menu spooked the fuck out of me because of the shrek chips. I mean the concept of a vending machine dvd menu is absolutely awesome, but its kinda disturbing. As a teen now, it shivers me timbers only a bit, but not as much as it did when I was little.

13:33 According to the Wayback Machine, the OvertheHedgemovie website is supposed to tell you to press some numbers on your DVD remote which would apparently unlock something on this menu. The numbers are 695 but you'd need to press the 'Enter' button right after each one. So it'd be like "6-ENTER 9-ENTER 5-ENTER" or "695-ENTER" My remote doesn't have number buttons sadly so I can't see it. Makes you wonder how they planned on having people in the future figure out what this screen was all about.

Luckily, I'm able to input numbers on my Blu-Ray player, so I can tell you what's hidden there. An Over the Hedge version of Jingle Bells called "Jingle Burps", because of course it is, as well as a second minigame from the bEQUAL DVD, "Hammy's Cookie Grab". I wonder if any other DVDs ever used the number buttons like this.
