I've played with these guys before mainly Tartoloros, Legolas, and TouchMeDaddy if anybody could have done it I would have guessed it was them

Interesting battle. 4v4 are very entertaining. Teamwork teamwork was critical. Too much troops in the back. Rome luistani and Tylis excellent factions infantry superiority. Nervii very good as well. Guerilla deploy torts and towers could’ve made a difference. Defenders good teamwork. Artillery for attackers lined up down the streets could’ve turned the tide. Snacks and drinks worthy. Excellent tips and tricks and arrows galore. Keep them coming bud!

A MUST SEE AND LEARN battle ! ! Gonna say no more because I dont want to spoil the outcomme of that battle ... A BIG THANKS for posting this vid ! you always deserve a like for learning us so much .

Omg finally, it took forever to get the camera back to the chariots when it was so obvious that they were about to attack rome inside the city from behind.

That dead bronze shield pikes got killed by the Tylis general at 45:42, somehow

Not sure what the attackers were thinking in this siege. Almost like they weren't learning at all.

That's exactly how archers should be used. Mine always have the most kills of all my forces, except for maybe cavalry at times.

The attackers have very good factions but here you saw that it is no all!

how nice to see a defence, and defenders used some awesome tactics

Haven't had the time to watch a really...but this was awesome...the legendary Archer 🏹 master gods where here😂🎉

Love just seeing the Iberian tribes be played lol

I always root for the defenders for some reason but what happened to Rome's Pretorian troops? We watched the battle at the back of the settlement and return to the front only to see all of Rome routed. In the stats at the end you see several Pretorian still at half or close to full strength.

General dead, no morale. Looked like rome was asleep half the battle anyways. Not paying attention to troops outside the city, and keeping them to far from the battle.

To bad rome didn't push around the back and hit Colchis from behind. It could have been a huge game changer.

I used to play like this.. like Rome attack alone... and ended up getting threesomes by defenders so now day I do team work even I knew the game would lose 😊 try to make a good play good match 😊

Madara you are correct my friend. I use to be guilty of that as well and got sallied on or archered to death. A good suggestion for the attackers would’ve been guerilla deploy all torts and towers and use superior infantry to destroy the front and press forward. Also artillery lined up to shoot down the streets could’ve made a difference as well. Powerful infantry factions all four of them.

@@Seth-zz4qd 😁 I like face to face attacks.. at Carthage I would fight for the tower when i got enough ground will storm in killing enemy slowly but surely is my taste 😊

Lackluster attack. No cavalry, Rome completely neglected his backlines and suicide pushed into a square he could have easily taken with some proper support, and then panicked on the reaction to the sally against him (his archers were like 20 meters away from nearest infantry!), and the backside guerillas were the most predictable thing ever and he overcommitted to it by a longshot. Rome was most disappointing though, I liked the aggression from the start that's the right move with the sally out on the other side, but you need to prepare for a pincer from your side which was inherently more vulnerable to a sally out. I think I would have abandoned the death square push when they committed to the full scale sally out and moved over to support less armored Nervii with checker formations in the backlines and help push the main square. With archers he could have been the deciding factor for an offensive win.

pontus guy didn't use his chariots to real effect he could've taken out almost all of the roman army without rome even knowin it but he wasted his chariots and cav and if he hadn't the defenders could've been able to go on the attack especially with how passive half the attackin team is but I'm only 15 minutes into the 50 minute video so I'm interested in seein how this progresses

It's a vanilla Rome 2 replay, no mods. Should be standard 2-3 javelins.

That was a good battle and great replay Joe as always but man how did an archer get 499 kills if i get 150 with a archer i think good i got my moneys worth out of that unit if i get 250 to 300 im amazed but 499 with a unit thats unheard of never seen that not even against AI and the AI is stupid u can use them as pin cushions and they stay there ,Ive been busy and need to catch up on the Total War replays but i notice in sieges now nearly always 1 army will fully sally out it seems to be if u pull it off u just made the attackers fail they never recover from a good sally out
