Thanks B Rich - nice vid! I was just outside assembling mine. Decided to air the front tire to the recommended 30 lbs. and set aside while working on the other stuff. About 1/2 hour in....blamo! Tube blew. I have replacements coming tomorrow so not the end of the world. Then mine came with the triple tree cap installed but had to remove it to pull cables out to the front like they should be...the re-install it. Didn't realize this until I had the handlebars ready to install. And when I removed the battery to take inside to charge a small piece of the bracket was laying inside where the battery sits. It came off the top lip of the bracket the battery attaches to. Not sure how important that is but will contact the seller and see what they say. This is my third e-bike and never had these things happen before. It's always something huh.....

Your video makes the perfect step by step instruction for assembling an intermediate electric bike. When mine arrives tomorrow, hopefully your link was used, I will definitely refer to this video as I am assembling it. You can do so much following an instruction manual, which is probably in digital form because of this green thing, but even following the instructions to the latter, track of time could be lost when it does not have to be, but using and following the instruction manual and following your video makes for the perfect follow along guide for an investment in micromobility.

I was convinced i was getting the Ridstar! Ive been seeing this on Amazon now for 799 free shipping, the ridstar is 799 + 100 shipping. That's for the 750 watt motor! I honestly don't know what to get, I know the hydraulic brakes are a plus but they're really not a deal-breaker for me. I've been seeing two different types apparently people are getting, one has the higher handlebars with the M5 display and the other has the ridstar type bars .do you know anything about it? and how do you know what you're getting once you order it? I need to make a decision cuz I'm definitely ordering one tomorrow I kind of like this ouxi for tje $$

@BRichSolution yeah my heart is set on the ridstar, I can't afford the 20 amp, they have a 15 amp, that's 899. The 20 amp is over 1000, that's a bit high for me, idk, I'm debating just getting the 20 amp, but I think 15 will be fine, I have zero Hills where I live. And getting 28 miles all Throttle on a 14 amp 500 w 48 v battery now. And 28 mph....not bad, I'm ordering tomorrow, will it be the 15, or 20 amp?? That's still debatable! You could reach out to selling or manufacture and ask but the they will most likely charge you a lot. An easy way to add 2nd battery would be one that hangs from the upper frame; also easy to remove when not needed; link to battery: amzn.to/3Qqze4V You will also need a battery combiner to make operating 2 batteries thru one controller safe. Link to Battery combiner: amzn.to/3OjAwvO Connect both batteries CT60 connector to the combiner and the combiners output to bikes controller. If needed you can buy XT60 cable extenders: amzn.to/47f0WHK

Just got mine and it was packed way different than yours. The crown was already installed correctly, all I had to to was flip my gooseneck and turn it to face forwards. Like yours, the hardest part was the front wheel installation. My brake handle was fastened too far to the left, causing the brake pads to pinch in a little bit. For the rubbing, I had to also adjust the brake caliper as well. I'm gonna charge it in the morning. I was wondering though, can I charge the bike while the battery is still mounted to the bike?

    1. Try putting some blue thread locker on the crank so it does not come loose. 2 do you lock the battery using the key to ensure it is locked in and contacts between battery and bike do not become disconnected? If no use lock. If yes try to make the connection between battery and mount tighten by putting a piece of cardboard between mount & battery so the battery does not bounce around

Hey thanks for this video! But I have one important question… Do you know if the bike is waterproof or not? Because in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 it rains almost every week 1 time or more…

Yes, bit not sure I would want to leave the bike in the rain long term. You can put a bag over the screen and throttle
