I bought the Greenwood 5 towards the end of summer 2021 after realising it nearly always rains on UK camping holidays and being fed up with cramming into a compact four person tent when it does. We went for this tent because of the Outwell brand and the size of the living area. Also, being a poled tent, it still easily packs away small enough to be able to fit into the 70 litre boot bag that straps onto the boot of my old convertible car. We were able to get one use out of it in October and it was a revelation. There's only me, my wife and our dog so it's a little overkill but the space it affords us is fantastic when it rains. The quality of the materials are superior to any tent we've used before and it feels like it will last a good long time if we look after it correctly. It rained most of the trip but there were no leaks; it's easy to set up and take down and the features mentioned in this video make for a versatile camping experience. I'd highly recommend it.

You can pull the bedroom divider back so it is just one big bedroom. Or you can remove the bedroom completely but I recommend doing this unless you are planning not to sleep inside the tent.

Is the "living area" weather proof? We'd like to stick the kiddos in the black out room while my husband and I sleep in the living area.

It is weather proof but if you are sleeping inside the living area then you’ll create a lot of condensation.

ciao. Outwell ha solo un magnete sulla porta centrale di una tenda quando ha tre zone chiuse. Quindi a loro non piace mettere il magnete su una porta esterna.

@@chiaramanente474 ti ringrazio alla fine dopo qualche ricerca l'avevo immaginato. Ma alla fine dopo attente valutazioni ho preferito la versione senza calamita nella porta d'ingresso. Se la usi con la calamita, la parte inferiore non deve essere chiusa ma libera di aprirsi, peccato che però con la calamita si chiude solo la parte verticale, quindi la parte sotto orizzontale rimane aperta dando possibilità di far entrare insetti, pertanto non la userei mai con la calamita. Se devo scegliere a questo punto, preferisco la versione 2022 che cmq ha una porta fatta tutta a zanzariera, dandomi più luce e vista all'esterno.

2023 has a quick & quiet mesh access front entrance, while 2022 is a large mesh door.
