    That tyrannosaurus is a beast, I was using traps and my bow to bring him down, this video helped give me the confidence to try melee again, now that I have better armor maybe it'll go better! lol. I wanted to mention that you can de-craft the trog mage staff for 3 mana stones, and there is a palladium ore node in one of the rooms you missed when you got turned around in the labyrinth. Really glad I found your channel, I enjoy your relaxed commentary and that you give a lot of great tips without many spoilers. BTW I agree, the dev's fixing the money-making crafting exploits is a great thing, nothing spoils a game more than making it too easy, especially early in the game.

    I do something similar, I put chunks of wood to mark all the fish spawns so I can find/grab them quickly, just keep the markers a bit away from the water, if it's too close the waves will wash them away.

    There's not really a great silver farming method anymore, which is completely fine with me. I think Outward is more enjoyable when you experience a more gradual character progression. Thanks for the positive comments on the channel! Definitely looking to get some more vids out soon.

    I'm still in the first zone but I'm finding the Conflux Mtn a great source of silver, the mana stones and ore respawn every few days while the monsters respawn after a longer period so you can clean out all the mana stones etc about 3-4 times before you have to fight again and the runs are quick. Each Conflux run earns me about 500-600sp, depending on how many hackmanites you get...don't forget the palladium underwater in the raptor cavern. Hope that helps!

    Have some question. Does it neseccary to obtain mana for bow build? If you have bow-build experience, can you help with some advice? 😔

  • @Comforts

    @Comforts

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Jonathan. Yes, I have gone through a bow build before. There is no need to acquire mana if you want to play a pure archer. To learn some nice bow skills, you will want to travel to the city of BERG in the ENMERKAR FOREST. The trainer that you meet when you first walk into Berg will teach you Hunter's Eye (increases the range of your 'lock-on' ability), Sniper Shot (more powerful bow shot), and Evasion Shot (shoot your arrow while simultaneously jumping backwards). If you spend one of your 3 breakthrough points to learn 'Survivor's Resilience', you will then have the ability to learn Bleeding Shot (inflicts bleeding on your enemy, causing damage over time). Bleeding Shot is a high-tier skill that you would need to invest a lot of silver in, but if you're looking to build a devastating archer, it would probably be worth it to you, especially early on. All of these skills are taught by the same trainer, the hunter just inside the gates of Berg (right across from Berg's Soroborean Caravaner). I hope this helps you. Thanks for watching!

    A nice bow that you can build to help you get started is the Coralhorn Bow (Crafting recipe: 2 sets of deer antlers, 1 crystal powder, 1 Recurve Bow). It doesn't require much silver to acquire. If you're struggling to kill a buck for the antlers, you may have luck getting the buck to chase you towards a group of bandits in hopes that the bandits will get in on the fight and kill the buck for you, leaving the loot (the Soroborean Caravaners also occasionally sell antlers). Otherwise, save up 1,000 silver and purchase the War Bow from the Blacksmith in Berg.

    @@Comforts Thx. This will help in future. With release "The Three Brothers" archer's became more powerful then in vanilla content. Skill-teacher's from DLC can teach you something really good, including and skills for bow. I hear, this is aquired for wins on the Sirocco Arena, but. build up this building requied to move in story-line. Honestly, Outward more attractive, when you don't determinate yourself something like plot.

  • @Comforts

    @@GinnyB0Y You're absolutely right. The 3 Brothers weapons trainer will teach you a devastating and attractive bow skill, but that will only be available to endgame characters since you cannot start building Sirocco until after you've completed the main storyline. And even then, you will not have access to the weapons trainer until you've put in a lot of time building up the city.
