I have a few "friends" however it wouldn't really make a difference if I was there or not, it just feels like I am merely just following them around like a lost puppy. I never get invited to parties, and I am always the one to make effort in speaking or arranging plans, sometimes I wonder if I actually do have friends or not.

Lucydoesbeauty I went through what you described, too. Be patient with yourself and discover who you are, what you like. Focus on others instead of only yourself. Make sure you're friends with someone who likes you for you, instead of just to be part of a group. Please, learn this, now; it took me years to find my true friends, however, the wait was well worth it.

im 22 and only had a couple people who were my friend in grade school now im in college and dont have any friends but at the same time, i keep to myself

26 years old and i still relate as much as i did 10 years ago..

When people I know got bullied, I stood up. Then I realized that the reason they didn't stand up for themselves was because that's what they really thought about themselves. The best thing you could do for someone being bullied is show them how beautiful they really are. Because sometimes we are our own worst critics.

I'm a kid but this year at my school I'm getting bully😥😥

I remember when this song first came out. It cut me like a heated knife, because it was my life for the longest time. I can't for the life of me remember what movie it was in, and it took the longest time just finding it in the first place since I could only remember snippets. For people who are suffering from this right now, please hear me when I say it does get better. As a person who danced to her own drummer and didn't know any better, I suffered this a lot in grade school. It was painful, and some days I wished I could stay in bed and never face the world again. But don't let the world get you down like that. Keep looking for the people who will treat you right. Who will include you. Who will accept you for both your positives and your faults, and don't let anyone in the world tell you these people you have found are "too lame" or don't meet their standards because they are only angry that you found happiness outside their bubble of normality. These same people who are against you probably will continue to be in later years. I know my entire class hated me in high school as much as they did in grade school, because I was different and didn't succumb to their standards. By that point I had reached out to people of surrounding grades and ages, and we had one jolly good time even though other people didn't quite accept us. In reality, people who try to put you down are not worth fretting over. Only people who are there for you and care for you are worthy of your sense of mind, and if that's the case then you're probably there for them and care for them too, y'know? And in those times when, even after all this, you still feel alone or ousted by society, don't let it hang around for long. Hang out with these new-found friends or, at the very least, give them a call or text. I bet they'll be happy to hear from you whether you're next door or thousands of miles away :)

Yourgonnad Rotmg I'm sorry you feel that way darlin', especially if you feel it so extremely that you needed to comment about it. I guess you could say I was trying to gather some attention--not to myself, but to the moral of my story. There are so many people who feel this way at some point in their life, and an awful lot of these people are going through it right now, and commenting as such on this video. When you feel this way (and I certainly hope you haven't) it doesn't seem like there's means to escape it, and it just leaves you broken inside. You're stuck in an infinite loop, so to speak. So I wanted to bring to attention that yes, there is an end, and believe it or not it can be a happy ending if you want it to be. (p.s.: in my opinion, being an attention whore is bringing attention to yourself by making a statement without a purpose other than people acknowledging "hey, you said a thing!". At my school, there was a group of people i felt close to, then i just felt shunned. Silent treatment. I just wanted to be with them, yet i was outside looking in. This song describes me perfectly. I've always been that weird quiet shy girl that everyone thinks is stuck up because I hardly talk to people. They think I'm rude but if I wasn't so shy I would tell them all that I'm nothing what they think. I have always loved this song. It was always me. I had nobody for a long time. For a while I was included in a group. But then they left me too. I'm one of the lucky ones though, as now I have 2 best friends who I can share anything with. This describes my brother's life. When he pass to 7th Grade, his bestfriend abandoned him. And everyone stared make him bulling, just because he liked to play video games. This was for 7 years! I really don't know what was going on with him but he NEVER even thhink about to kill himself. He just "Stay Strong" and he really just ignored them. Im so proud of him right now

This song makes my cry. I used to listen to it when I was maybe 11 or 12. I related a lot to this song. It wasn’t that I had no friends but they didn’t treat me how friends should treat one another. I felt lonely and like no one cared. I memorized this whole song and would sing it alone in my room. I didn’t really know that Amanda Todd sang this but I do know the story of her being bullied which is something I and many people experienced. I’d like to say to my old self and anyone who ever experienced bullying that it gets better. This reminds me of a sad period in life but now that I’m out of high school and in college I’ve met better people and not let the past define me. I get you :/ like if i want to talk to my best friend, i have to make an "appointment" to talk to her because she's so busy with other people..high school is tough, but please, please, hang in there. i know it seems difficult now but things WILL get better. my stepmom told me that believe it or not, most of her best friends she met in college. and if your friends don't treat you the way you should be treated, then they're not worth your time. i know it's hard to let go, but i'm sure there are other people that are deserving of your time and friendship. oh, and you don't need many friends to be happy. you just need the ones who pick you up after falling down :)

Same goes for Jeb Sheeps up there. Treat people, whether in real life or online with respect they way you would want to be respected. People are sharing here because they will feel no undertands them, because they have no one who will listen to them, because they have no one to confide in. That's a LOT easier said than done. You try being treated like crap by your "friends" and drifting apart from probably your only non-douche friends, being a bit shy anyway, and basically having to start over in a place where you don't have much in common with anybody. Pro-tip: It's not fun, and it's not easy. If you have the magical remedy to all that, please tell me, oh, Enlightened One.

Witch part didnt you get,the "stop playing the victum" (witch you just did) or "dont give a fuck"? There are people with much worse problems then you,get over it. Im just being honest,whinning or crying about it wont help

You can't speak for everyone so you could go on not giving a fuck about anything but then there are more sensitive people who can't do that

this album helped me over come a lot of things!!

I cried when i first heard this. Now its kind of my to-go-to song when things get bad.

I used to listen to this song a lot when I was younger because I was very depressed and I felt alone, its been years since then and I can now say that things eventually get better
