What is also very sad is all that humans haven't understood about dogs and other animals throughout the past. Forty years ago did I understand all that I do now? No. When I was growing up, one of my parents told me that animals don't reason, that they function purely by instinct, and while I know that instinctual knowledge plays a large role in what they do and why, they also reason, think and feel. There has been so much that people haven't understood. It must be very frustrating for them in trying to deal with humans. Animals all understand each other, including other species, whether friends, strangers or predators, they understand. But humans have largely been clueless, and corrupt. Both pets and animals in the wild know that many people are messed up, that they can't be trusted, that they're dangerous.

I love how your language with the dogs evolves in unexpected ways. Sometimes it's obvious, like using "tomorrow" as a synonym for future, as in, "big tomorrow," but some of it just comes out of nowhere. Like, of course they use "cat" as a synonym for a quadruped animal smaller than they are if Uni is their reference for what the button means.

@@ThePallidor Dogs are said to be as intelligent as a 2-3 year old, so I think it’s worth doing what you mentioned. When I trained my dogs to associate concepts with words, I talked to them the way Bunny’s owner talks to her, and I saw good results. They definitely understand certain things, but because they are animals, I think it’s important to not humanize them too much because their thought process is still pretty different, but it’d still be interesting to see how a dog’s intelligence could improve if form a young age they were treated like a 2-3 year old human intelligence-wise.

He was a Service Dog at home, very helpful, and well able to read people as to what they needed and their frame of mind, whether needing a hug or if someone was dangerous. I taught him more words every week while reviewing the former, and when he was five, I listed on paper all the words he understood, and for real, it was more than 20,000. He was very special.

I love how it often looks like Bunny is just stepping on buttons on the way over the button pad, but you can tell she knows exactly where all her feet are going and planned every button hit (except for occasional accidents) because they do make sense together and with her actions, etc. It actually makes the communication through the buttons look more carelessly effortless than most humans could do it (take it from someone who has to use a text to speech app on an ipad to help me communicate due to disabilities and definitely couldn't make it look as carelessly effortless as Bunny does 😂)

I can’t wrap my head around some people honestly preferring to think that this dog is actively just pressing random buttons because he gets attention for it. Anyone with a basic comprehension of dogs can physically see the specific buttons and meanings behind them. Every single button press is with a purpose. I get that not all dogs are like bunny, but bunny is able to actually formulate specific thoughts and combine them. What sounds more believable? Dog who is able to create and combine thoughts and concepts to communicate, or dog that specifically presses certain buttons she ‘doesn’t know’ just for attention she doesn’t seem to get anything out of?

Set up a stationary camera. Your dog has a family, you technically adopted. Stop giving your dog drugs, and talk to him like a human, be real. Hide the mirrors if dudes trippin. Sedation is cruel imo for the first dog to have sentient thoughts. My concerened opinion

WATCH carefully, the SOUND of the buttons BEING pressed / activated and the words are not synced with the ACTION of the dog and NEVER do you see the words on the buttons....READ ON:.. ,,,,I've asked MANY times with no response, ,SO, what happens if you were to intentionally mix up the buttons and WHY DoESNT the mixing that you do DO effect anything????..DOES YOUR DOG READ!.. I'VE SEEN at least TWO arrangements of buttons and holders, one has 4 rows in 2 pairs of similar multi colored holders, The other has all one color holders all attached with a space in the middle for the dog. ..AND , WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT researcher you were working WITH?? Did I miss the reports on whats going on with that???? .ALSO, I'VE READ ON LINE WHERE the word sounds are added during editing. IS THAT TRUE BECAUSE IF IT IS YOUR IN DEEP DOGGIE DO DO.........

@@vjc2270 I was hoping that the @warrenrodgers7544 comment was just the random Jesus culture exhortation that is applied throughout the inter webs. I wanted them to feel seen and included. Now if Miss Bunny gets a 'Jesus' button, I'm definitely here to witness the outcome! lolololol
