Grenades, Explosive C4, Valkyre Rocket (Remote Rocket) Silenced Pistol, Survival Knife, And a Cardboard Box.. Along with Adult Magazine's (To distract Enemies) And the Stealth Camo (As Given to him by Octacon) While Little Mac is just trained in Boxing, Weighing in at 107 Pounds, and at the Age of 17.. Including Fighting Boxers who were bigger than him and won.. Even when they cheated.. While Snake is just trained in Stealth Espionage, 15 martial arts, and is not wearing bullet proof under the suit.. And he's 27 by his design (MGS2 Time) Sorry for the 2nd reply.. Big Boi's got some Hussle.

It's always shocking to see just how fast Bowser is in this game. If this Bowser chased after you in real life you're super dead lol

And of course, challenges like this are Sonic, Lil Mac, and Greninja's bread and butter. Lil Mac can't jump as well as most of them, but the boy can sure run... with his face mere inches off of the ground.

In most games, Bowser can actually be pretty fast (most notably when he sprints in Super Mario 64 or the last section of the 3D Land final battle). Problem is, he needs room to get going; because Mario is much smaller than Bowser, he’s more agile and can outmaneuver the Koopa king.

I don’t think tap sprinting or whatever it’s called is the best option for every character. Although it’s technically faster, I think for some of the characters it causes them to get stuck in between the blocks or stop right before the stage when they would’ve made it with one more stride.

What about repeated dash walks?

Some characters are either getting stuck on the blocks, or you’re flicking the analog stick. Making them dash instead of running. Either way or neither, some characters should’ve gone further.

Because it's not only about speed, the steep inclination has a huge impact on this challenge. Heavier characters with longer steps don't get interfered as much as faster characters wtih faster movements, while characters who have float movement didn't get impacted at all.

What a cruel result... Some fighters got stuck on steps that others wouldn't trip over. Also, Pyra, Sora, and normal Sephiroth, etc., were able to float and ignore the steps, but they didn't have enough speed and fell down.

We need a Sonic compilation of all the challenges so far. I wouldn't doubt if he's completed the most.

Watching Bowser cannon up that slope was majestic. I did NOT know he was faster than Mario. 🤣

Joker has ample experience with escaping exploding structures, so his success in this challenge should come as no surprise.

The ones that were just barely fast enough were perhaps the most satisfying to watch. Not sure if some of them were dashing or just getting stuck on each block somehow, though. Either way, it looked kind of janky.

Ike, the first Fire Emblem character to fall in this challenge. They seem to be doing better than normal here.

@@kardaran7345not necessarily, there is a number of challenges where a cieling may be too low and he can’t complete them. Steve is definitely in the top 10 if not number one overall. Prowder had to rework his stage three times just to make it so steve couldn’t win.

Sonic is literally the fastest character so wind isn’t an issue and he has a stall and fall dair, so even vertical wind isn’t that much of an issue in most cases. The only challenges he’s failed at are challenges with too low of ceilings or ones based on disjoined range

honestly i think over all sonic would probably be B tier, other characters like steve pilachu pac man mew two and wario almost always out perform him.

Pikachu and Pichu almost get a close call ....but they won!!!

Yeah I noticed that what they were maybe doing was foxtrotting but because they got stuck. But then I saw ness dead stop and Kirby basically have a redo with power ups then I knew they were doing the bias thing they go through where they just force certain characters to lose.

Several of these got stuck on the first block, I'm sure Wii Fit would have at least gotten close otherwise

A lot of characters are having trouble with this slope in general. Sheik clears it very comfortably where falcon has it on his heels, and sheik is not the faster of those two.

Seeing Ness get stuck at the bottom was so funny

I noticed, a few barely could stand the incline, perhaps an incline challenge

I did not expect Bowser of all people to make it.

It almost seems like some characters are getting 'caught' between the blocks during their runs and that's causing them to be slower than they should be. EDIT: watching Wii Fit Trainer not even make it past the first block on the slope feels like a confirmation for me.

Everybody is talking about Sonic completing speed challenges but nobody is talking about Captain Falcon clearing a speed challenge since he is the 2nd fastest fighter in the smash roster

@@nydeity9100But in terms of casual speed, then Sonic is the fastest, since he’s fast all the time, whereas Hero uses powerups. Not saying that Hero isn’t the fastest though.

34 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did outrun explosive blocks on the slope, but 55 Super Smash Bros did not.

I think this challenge as a whole deserves a redo. Multiple characters either stuttered or came to a full stop before they even had a chance to get to their full running speed. It's either that or the uploader is purposely giving certain characters an advantage over others, in which case it would be immoral and false representation. List of characters that would've gotten further but still not made it if they hadn't gotten stuck or purposely held back: •Ness •Young Link •Snake •Olimar •Villager •PAC-MAN •Simon & Richter •Isabelle •Banjo & Kazooie List of characters that should've made it, but either got stuck or were purposely held back: •Wii-Fit Trainer

In Bowser's inside story, he's forced to run on a treadmill in his castle in which it's currently occupied by an asshole.

Wii fit Trainer: "okay, deep breath in... here we go." (Immediately stubs toe on box and falls down) "Damnit!"

Why didn’t Metroid obtain speed booster before the challenge? Is she stupid?

Something about the incline seems a bit unfair. Mainly the fact that some characters appear to struggle with the ramp. Kinda like they bump into it as certain points. I feel a straight run would be a true determining factor. Great vid otherwise 👍

I'm surprised that Bowser, Ridley and Charzard made it. I thought they were all heavier and slower characters. Also a little surprised Cloud made it. Not completely surprised, but he's not usually a character I think of as fast. And I think Sonic had finished his taunt before the blocks were done exploding.

Some characters are also getting stuck between the blocks between their running animations, so they have to clear it by foxtrotting as well.

It's not just run speed that's the issue. If it was, Wii Fit Trainer should have cleared by all rights. The blocks themselves seem to be slowing people down, but I don't exactly know why.
