Outrage Grows After Pune Teen's Fatal Porsche Case

Four days after a 17-year-old killed two people in a speeding Porsche, the Pune police have intensified their investigation. The police have now included section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act in the FIR for driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect, already booked for culpable homicide, appeared before the juvenile court on Wednesday. The police have requested the Juvenile Justice Board to send the accused to an Observation Home and to try him as an adult.
The suspect's father, Vishal Agrawal, was brought to court, where someone threw ink at him amid chants of "Vande Mataram."
Following revelations that the minor and his friends were served alcohol at two pubs, a crackdown has begun. Some pubs faced bulldozer action, while others received notices from the Pune Municipal Corporation to comply with regulations.
The families of the victims, Aneesh and Ashwini, are in shock and angered by the minor's easy bail. Despite receiving bail within 14 hours of the accident, the minor's conditions include writing a 300-word article on the accident, a driving license ban until age 25, and a one-year car registration ban.

Road tax is not paid despite car being delivered in March. That's why it was unregistered. May be Vishal Agrawal was expecting a change in govt - which would change road tax %? Road tax on the car is Rs 45L. That money should be now paid to the victims' families. AT LEAST. That won't allow him to skip jail time though.

karodon ki hai. Toh kya sab log road per mer jate hai? This car driver needs to be in prison. His father needs to compensate the victims' families - at least 10x of their annual salaries. There were educated tax paying citizens.
