Creo que lo que pasó fue lo siguiente: DD en esta línea de tiempo de alguna manera había convencido a spirit de no matar a boyfriend pero a cambio este tomaría el suyo a lo cual dd accedería pero justo al momento de la batalla spirit por algún motivo sería derrotado y consumido por la corrupción ya que este había ido solo con el cuerpo de bf sin embargo en este línea temporal los corruptos lo emboscaron y consiguieron entre todos corromperlo de esta manera empieza esta canción dd al saber que no podría ganar ahorraría fuerzas cantando para en su lugar poder concentrar todo su poder y comunicarse con pico de manera telepática y luego despertarlo descorrompiendolo después de esto pico usando su arma descorromperia a los niños spooky solo quedaban los más fuertes en este caso mm y csbf entre todos los ya descorrompidos lograrían descorromper a mm y luego este comunicandose con spirit lograría que este último reaccionara a tiempo y este usando todas sus fuerzas cambiaría de cuerpo y llendo al de dd cbf no tenía nada que hacer y entre todos acabarían con la corrupción ( Lo de la telepatía lo digo por qué osea dd es un demonio tu crees que no podría hacer eso?)

You are mostly right!!! However, when dd was healing pico and spooky, he didn’t sing for 2 reasons. 1. Pico, spooky children, and csbf kept singing to corrupt dd, therefore pico and spooky children got exhausted and got healed easily. 2. DD didn’t sing because he tried to heal pico and spooky and save energy until the end.

So I'm guessing in this universe instead of resurgence bf scenario happening spirit didn't fully kill bfs soul and instead took mercy on him sense he realized bf didn't have control of what he's doing and decided to share the body but spirit didn't realize there was still a little bit of corruption on bf and bfs body gets instantly recorrupted thx to the corruption using spirits power and corrupted spirit bf made there way to dd and dd got almost fully corrupted but resisted and sense spirit in bfs body and decided to fight harder then he ever did before and this is where the song starts
