I like picturing what glitches would look like “IRL” - in this, a cameraman just happens to look over a bush and fence and spots a hole marked “SECRET LAB DO NOT JUMP INTO THIS HOLE.”

the camera man just shoves himself through corners in order to break reality like a fucking hound of tindalos all so he can record some dude half a mile away who by all metrics is behind like 40 walls.
Them showing off the bush skip at the end had me rolling. One of the biggest QA test misses I have ever seen. Either that or it was intentional.

You'd be surprised how long it took speedrunners to find that specific setup. They've been able to go out of bounds and warp to the last level for a long time, but it used to be this whole complicated thing where they'd climb in the window the player is supposed to use to enter the building, immediately climb out, and wallride to get to a specific point on the map and then go out of bounds in a seemingly random direction and just hope they hit the trigger.
Sharkhat has a really cool shark hat
This Man Is The Walrider.
The dead-silence for the "uwu" donation was brutal.
Excellent Run sharkhat!! Thank you so much!
My mind can’t grasp how most of these noclips are found, good run man!

Some are by accident, most are from people spending hours trying every little random idea they can conjure that might have even the smallest potential to result in a useful time saving glitch. People generally start by using known glitches from other similar games as a starting point of what and where to start experimenting, such as using furniture to push yourself through a wall to get out of bounds. That’s a fairly common thing in a lot of games and is normally a good place to start testing out possible glitches.

The devs released a mode where all hitboxes are visible, that helped somewhat. Just recently in late November 2022 they found a skip for Wernicke and Chris getting killed in the lab part bringing the any% down under 5 minutes. Almost took a decade to find that.
Didn't expect there to be so many skips in this game lmao
I'm so happy there's a glitch manoeuvre called "wall riding"! SPOILER ALERT ahaahhaha

FLASHING WARNING: (bright white lightning flashes) from 18:00 to 20:30 i love this run but the flashing lights warning was put up *after* the level (courtyard) where the majority of flashing happens, which is really unfortunate. if you are photosensitive, i recommend going audio-only during that period.
Great SR! I hate this game, but with this strat it´s not that bad :-D
21:30 This dude is a beast!
Shark hat!
WHAT a game this is!
When they were talking about people in game watching their character breeze by things and wall clipping it reminded me of things like no-hit runs, especially in games like Bloodborne. Like, Gehrman has probably witnessed countless hunters struggling through Yahrnam and coming back injured and going mad. And then here comes a hunter just breezing passed everything and finding everything so easy that they don't even get hit. It just makes me laugh when I think about it.
My man got more game done after 4 minutes than me in 3 days.

3 DAYS to get to that point is WILD.
great run! Serious question - how come no one has run O2 at GDQ?
I bought this game last year but I'm too afraid to play it ^^

First time playing outlaat it took me 8 months to complete. I could play for mabye 20-30 minutes and by then my heart was racing so bad i had to take a week break, i was absolutely terrified the whole playthrough and i loved every minute of it.
What kind of switches do you have? They're super clicky.
it took me 4 hours to beat. huh
