I listen to a bunch of different Relaxing Outlander music videos while I work at the office and I saw this one today and gave it a try. This is a very great video! So relaxing, a good length, and I even love hearing Jamie’s voice at the beginning. Adding this video to my playlist. Great job!

The first season of Outlander is EASILY the BEST one! All the magic of Scotland pushed into a few episodes.....LOVE IT! I wish the whole series would've remained in Scotland but alas, Diana had other ideas. Maybe they'll go back in the end! 🤞🤞🤞

When you are watching Outlander, the music is wonderful and is perfect for the characters, the storyline and the settings. But when you listen to the music on its own, you really appreciate how truly superb it really is. Many, many thanks to the phenomenally talented Bear McCreary!

When I asked Jesus Christ into my heart to live as my Lord and Saviour and I repented of all of my sins and asked Him to forgive me for all of my sins, he did, and he changed my life, even my doctor wondered how I quit just like that, I prayed and gave it to Jesus, every morning when I pray he helps me everyday when I put all my trust in Him and give him each day, I no longer stay depressed, or take any medication for it. My Heavenly Father gives me His peace that passes all understanding. He is the answer to everything going on in this world.

Scotland pulls at my heart--was so beautiful there! And seeing the ancestral clan lands by Loch Ness was stirring. Then to see the clan stone at Culloden...tears and such sadness over these people we called "family, kith, kin." Even still we see how they just wanted freedom...

Scotland is like a magical, mystical foreign land steeped in the old ways of the world. I have to remind myself that there are people living there in this modern age. It seems so bizarre, like two worlds colliding, the old and the new. Makes me wonder what the people living there now, think of Outlander and all the magic and mystery surrounding it.

I’m from Australia, I recently learned that my maternal grandfather's family were all Scottish and I’ve traced them back to a clan in the Highlands. I’ve always had a yen to go Scotland, now I really want to, but I’m afraid I’ve left it too late!

If only I could watch it again as if it is the first time. I am so profound of Scotland. No wonder why I liked the first season the most than the lasts filmed in the New World. History, fantasy, romance, drama all combined to come up with a piece of art like Outlander. I also LOVE Scottish people in kilts. Now this video will be my companion while doing my chores 😍

Apparently Diana Gabaldon said that the ending of Outlander will be "a happy ending" that will make us cry. So I think it's pretty clear Claire and Jamie will be together their whole lives. My theory is that it will show their deaths when they are old, and that they will have some realisation that they will find each other across lifetimes. I also think something about how the time travel works will explain Jamie looking up at Claire in the window, because maybe he will finally be able to time travel himself!

But I hope the last season or book only show us that Jamie n Claire happily ever after, back to Scotland, surrounded by their grandchildren n family, cz I just cant see them die 🥺 Seeing them apart is hurting me. Seeing Jamie's ghost look up at Claire also hurting me, confusing me.. feels like Jamie only can see her from afar. But as I know, DG has said that Jamie himself wont be able to time travel. Maybe she will change her mind, who knows.

I know these melodies and especially the first season of Outlander touches many of our hearts... to the core... to the basest of our inner spirits. What if there is such a thing as reincarnation; past lives and such.. and we all were soldiers or families of, during the Culloden battle on the 16th of April, 1746. What if the pain and fear, the longing, and desire for victory is set deep in our spirits and therefore when we hear celtic music and visit similar story lines, that we again feel the familiarity? Imagine if we all met each other.. I wonder if we would feel any kinship towards one another?

That is such a beautiful thought. Outlander has moved me so deeply, I often wish to experience 18th century in its fullest. Weather if it's love, honor, cruelty or rawness of life itself. Feels like we're all trapped in today's world with no true values in sight and with no way out.

I am going to UK, and Scotland specifically to try to connect to ancestors and healing for us all. I know some of my ancestors who left were grieving deeply for the loss of loved ones through premature deaths, famine, and battles. I feel this in my bones. I need to sit under the yew trees where some of them were buried, and others worshipped. This music feels connected to all of these longs. Thank you @Kim for your insights.

Thank you for the comment. I deeply indentify. feeling the deep conection...celtic music makes me long to green mountains and wooden huts. Me and my ex boyfriend once had a mutual memory of our past life toghether in this area. It was peaceful there but also very tragic... those days were rough also...lets not idealize it too much...
