Lots said here about Sam's looks, but the thing that really gets me vibrating is his voice--soft, deep and so compelling. How could you not fall in love with that! Especially coupled with all the rest of his persona...

I can't believe he's 40 because when the series started I thought he was 25 227 years old and he was about 34!

I always appreciate interviewers that ask him decent, thought provoking, sensible questions. Thank you for being one of those people. This is such a lovely interview. His answers were very interesting. He seems like such a nice guy :)

CJ Cross agreed. She didn’t appear star struck like most interviewers would and you can tell she put some thought into her questions. Almost psychology-related and in depth that it made Sam really think about his answers. Refreshing to watch.

He certainly is the most handsome man I have seen in quite a while and also well mannered and talented. I absolutely love him and appreciate this great interview.

Sam's beautiful interaction with his fans is so special. His kindness and willingness are a lot of his charm . He seems like a sweet spirited man.Its refreshing.

Sam is such a beautiful person inside & out. I hope he goes on to far better roles because he is a great actor. He needs more recognition. Love him

While Sam is Hueghan is definitely handsome, its far from just his good looks that the fans love about his portrayal of Jamie. There are plenty of scenese in that show where he's looking rough, or bloody, or dirty, or whatever, and its about the heart he brings to the character. So yes hes a handsome guy but probably no matter whaat he looked like coming in the fans would love him resolutely for playing Jamie so well.

he is quite sexy still, even covered in sweat and blood and mud. :) His looks are quite pleasing but it is also his voice I think that makes us quiver.

That was a nice "comfortable" interview, without all that embarrassing gushing and infantile questioning that often happens .Acutely embarrassing for Sam and embarrassing to watch . Very professional!

And clear her throat when asking about his looks. She was definitely affected by him too, as are all females by his charm. He is just so magnetic! She was trying to play it down. Loved the empathy shown though via Robert Redford. Loved Sam alluding to double standards of women being so up front. As always softening his remark.

This is probably one of the best interviews of this fine actor, that I have seen, so far. You brought out the fact that he works really hard and that he still appreciates his fans. Great guy and you did a great interview. Thank you!

I know a lot of people have already said it, but this is one of my favorite Sam interviews. Yes, his looks are much talked about by fans and the media, so it's part of the conversation, but you asked actual questions both related and unrelated to it and didn't just call him a "sex symbol" and leave it at that. A lot of interviewers only see Sam as a hot guy and don't let the viewers see him as a whole person.

He is handsome, but his best bits are his giving nature and push for charity. I will always adore him for bringing my favorite fictional character to life!

What I just said in no way is to diminish his talents as an actor! The acting in Outlander by all is excellent! I haven’t seen acting by “new” actors this good in a while!

Great interview. Sam is always so genuine. His willingness to interact with fans and his obvious enjoyment make him a perfect star and one who should have a wonderful long career. I know I'm really enjoying following him in his various projects. Don't burn yourself out Sam - we want you around for a long while yet!

That was a really nice interview! The interviewer managed to be professional and friendly at the same time. Sam looks very at ease with her. The questions were perfect. We learned so much about him, I liked his way of thinking. It's the truth. The body is also a "tool of work" for an actor. He has to adapt to various situations and roles. But Ixone is right. He is an excellent actor, he has proven it time and time again in Outlander, we should talk about it a lot more.

You know what you are right, when they speak of a woman's looks and disregard her talent it is quite frowned on, but they look at you and their first comment will be of your looks. But don't ever think that we don't know your talent as well. Anyone who has watched Outlander has no doubt about your talent as an actor. I just wish they had put ALL of your scenes in the series, I have seen some that were cut that I sure wish hadn't of been they were so good also.

I appreciate when someone askes questions with class and respect, that are well thought out. Things that focus on Sam and his career more on a human level and and treat him like a person, not just on the level of a character he plays. Well done! I also admire Sam for the very classy , kind and sort of down-to-earth way that he handles these things. I hope no matter how famous he gets he still remembers how to be that kind person.

Enjoyable interview and not demeaning to Sam, thanks. When you said the women were talking about him, he quirked an eyebrow and asked, being so coy - he knows. I like that he works hard to keep appearance nice, and hard to further his career. Staying humble is one of his best qualities, again thanks for your professional demeanor.

I guess I am in the minority but in real life he doesn't really resemble his character from the show. While he is obviously a handsome and nice guy, he is not Jamie and you don't really get those blurred lines. I actually think that's a compliment. It just shows how much of an amazing actor he is and how that performance is really something special. So much goes into that- the costume, hair, the stronger accent, the unbelievable acting quality. Although we don't like to seperate fantasy from reality, sometimes we have in order to get through the day and not hunt him down and demand marriage.

Good response. I think the older one gets the easier it is to separate the fantasy from the reality. It's less crushing when you see the real people behind the characters they portray.

Such a great interview. I love the questions. When asking him about people watching him because of his looks and not his acting she failed to comment that he is the whole package. I think people normally pay attention to the whole package because if someone was a lousy actor but good looking you would get bored pretty quickly. He is an amazing actor. The Hemsworth brothers are amazing actors as well and they are also gorgeously handsome.

Classy, modesty, and humility, yes, Sam is all of these and talented, a natural and easy on the eyes to boot. Thank you Sam for your expertise to take us to another world of entertainment, excitement, bliss and awe, by your talents. You are such a joy to watch❣️🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏👏💙💙💙

I enjoyed this interview very much. Like so many fans I've seen many, many interviews. Your questions were interesting and well thought out. You managed to professionally yet honestly address "the white elephant" of his looks and physique as they relate to his goals as an actor and gave him, I think, a rare opportunity to voice his thoughts on the matter in a similar manner. Very well done.

Great interview, I am a bit late to the Outlander party, but, while he is an incredibly handsome man, he has done an absolutely brilliant job portraying the persona of Jaime Fraser that is in the books. By far goes beyond appearance. And I went all in and watched all four seasons and am on the second book in the past month.

DiCaprio can only dream to be like you. You are genuine and kind and beautiful and a very, very good actor. You are quality inside and out. Please stay like that: both: excellent and with both feet on the ground!!!

He just seems so NORMAL and down to earth, and nice. I love him SO much!! Can't WAIT to see him on the big screen in August, and the small screen in November.

It has to be a bummer! As an actor/actress you'd have to been seen as the bum,the champion fighter,the school teacher, doctor etc. Dirty looking ,clean mean ,good to have a career! Scripts come in. I mean look at Robert Pattinson for exsample. Fans were wild about him ! Know for his hair and good looks! Now you hardly see him anymore! I think Sam such a wonderful actor, I hope his agent and great scripts are out there!

Fantastic interview. The Questions were well thought out and the presentation was excellent. Sam played coy a little and was cheeky and flirty but you took it in stride, never got thrown off. Excellent.

Sam is hot, no doubt. But its his acting indeed that we all were drawn to the show. I mean c'mmon... would you love him if he was a lame actor with good looks, like the ones in Twilight movies (except Robert Pattinson of course: the saving grace), or the lame Christian Grey actor? No of course not. Sam brings a whole new level of beauty to his character, the dashing braveheart who is madly in love with a woman from future. He acts out his character so well, and with so much respect, that you can't help but fall in love with him. Most male actors hate female fantasy books and thus they always seem bored on the films. Sam on the other hand, is very much respectful of the female opinion, and is quite cool to play the teary-eyed hunk. Can you imagine other male actors doing that? Sam even went on to audition for Renly Baratheon, and Loras Tyrell in GOT, yah the gay dudes. (Thank God they didnt pick him coz he deserves way more). He is simply perfect. Only a man confident about his own masculinity will be okay to embrace feminity.

I agree completely. He seems able to just blow negative social media stuff off and that's unusual in a younger person. I think Zac Efron is the only younger person who seems able to brush it off pretty much, that I've seen anyway

Sam does'nt only have good looks. He is kind, intelligent and the most talented actor I have ever seen.

Well I have no complaints with sam building more muscle and getting bigger. I think he's got a lovely personality from what i've seen. I am also very picky about who I like too and yeah I would watch his other future movies because we all know there's more to come.

Having been over looked many times with Game of Thrones ( 7 times! are you kidding me?) Look, the paths we walk sometimes come to dead ends. Kudos for keeping going back there, but, I feel this was to ready you for Outlander and, this, will be a strong platform and entrance into many other opportunities. Keep going. I love outlanders it's such a good show it's my favorite

LOL my family is Scottish and French; and stubborn is our first middle and last name if you're a Scot! 😂😂 my dad was a born Storyteller, & Charming along with that tall dark and handsome thing going on. Since our family has been in America since probably the late 17th century early 18th century, and we've lived in Virginia, everyone in my family had this Southern and country accent. The only one that did not have it is myself and that's because I've lived a little bit of everywhere in the USA with my dad working for the veterans administration and then being a military wife until I was about 30. I sound like someone from California until I am busy at work and then I'll sound like I'm from the south. Blap it comes right out. I'm fluent French because my great grandma on my paternal side was friends and my great Grandad and her husband, Benjamin Harris, was a Scot. I'm a Harris as well.. I was reading online that Harris is a popular name in Scotland and that one out of every 300 people have that name and it's more popular in Scotland than in America. My French great-grandmother was not stubborn but more sophisticated and she didn't have gross manners at times like the Scotch side of my family. 😂😂😂 what everyone sees in Outlander regarding the Scottish demeanor and horrible bathroom conversations, is definitely a Scottish thing along with drinking. Dad had to give up alcoholic beer and drink non-alcoholic when his blood pressure went up..
