Now throw your hands in the air
And wave 'em like you just don't care
And if you like fish and grits and all that pimp shit
Everybody let me hear you say, "O-Yea-yer"
Now throw your hands in the air
And wave 'em like you just don't care

I came here for the shrimp and grits and all that pimp shit.
I wish I could go back in time. Best times of my life when this song came out.

This song depresses me so much... Knowing that music this perfect will never be made again. It's a sad thought.

Never gets old fr
Who ever reading this , your time is coming 💯💰
Hands down one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time...
Damn its been 25 years and this whole album still knocks.. Between atliens and aquemi they were most unique sound at the time. Im from Philly so grew up on east coast, but outkast def lmk the atl could spit 🔥
Growing up to Dre, Snoop (old snoop), Pac, Biggie, Big Pun, Cypress, Tech, Warren G, Nate Dogg, DMX, Cube, Wu-Tang and so many others...I never knew at that time how legendary the music was. It was hype but we always thought new better shit would come out. I guess it peaked.

Love how Andre and Big Boi are leading everybody into uncharted territory in this video. It's like, "c'mon y'all, we know the way, just follow us and don't get lost." It's metaphor for how they led all of us to a purer form of hip hop and music in general. These guys got soul, integrity, and their producers are H-O-T. Just listening to the snare and the overdubbed vocal effect proves how smart they are. This album and Aquemini are my favorites.
still light years ahead, genius!
I grew up in the 90’s. I was 16 in 97’. Loved all the 90’s hip hop. Please come back! If not, it’s ok. I’ll jam to my 90’s hip hop forever!
AT Aliens.....Album Bk in 1996...Timeless !! I was 22 yrs old Bk then ..Now iam 47 & still be rocking OutKast..💯💯..I used to rock this hard in my Hatchback Ford Escort GT 5 Speed...2 12 inch Orion Subwoofers...pumping Hard...Good times Bk in the days !! Yes Sir !! 💯💯
Andre 3000 last verse is so 🔥 it will make ya sweat bars
Andre's words basically make love to your mind.
Aliens is gold bruh, Outlast went in on this track
This is how you supposed to rap, they just flow to the beat so smooth. Big Boi brings the street element and Andre brings intellectual intelligence.
As an Egyptian, i *vibe* to this and this was one of my fav songs growing up!
Ti'll this day i can't decide Between ATLiens or Stankonia which album is better.. both are classics

I would say this one. I liked the singles off of Stankonia but the other tracks I didn't care for much. This album I pretty much liked it all. But that's just me.

Simple Complexity Yeah Stankonia had great singles. My favorite 2 songs off that album weren't even singles though, "Snappin & Trappin" and "Gangsta $#it"

Gangsta Shit is my shit. The beat and everything....oh my gosh that was such a good track. I don't really smoke..but when I did..I had to listen to that track. It's mandatory.

open your consciousness. Outcast are from another planet. Hip Hop is not just a youth culture, it brings young star seeds on its way.
That second verse Andre spits is some of the realest bars I have ever heard.
