Hi Brian, nice vid. i'd like to add a few observations i made when fitting my own outex kit to my morad alloy rims. i placed the wheel spindle in the wheel and supported my wheels on axle stands to make them easier to rotate while applying the tapes, and also after cleaning i used a fine marker pen to draw a line around the rim well at the border of where the tape will be to make it easier to make sure the tape stays centred as i apply it. i used latex gloves for the cleaning of the rim well with the rubbing alcohol and installing of the adhesive tape and the barrier tape. the reason being that there is a chance while handling the rim with bare hands that the oils from ones skin can impair the bond of the adhesive...... if i ever fit an outex kit again another step i'd take is, at the barrier tape application stage cut off the the start of the barrier tape where outex have pre -punched the valve hole and start 180deg opposite the valve and re-punch a new valve hole where needed , so that when you apply the joint bridging strip the extra weight of the double layer barrier tape will help to counter balance the weight of the valve and hopefully reduce the amount of rim balance weights needed . regards mike-tt special :)

Excellent, I am curious to your other mods to your Thruxton R. Maybe a short vlog on what you have done and any results. Thanks

Thank you for the video. I installed this kit on my R Nine T. I had a professional shop install the kit for me. Both tires seem to gradually lose pressure. Have you experienced this and if yes and suggestions would be appreciated? Thank you

I know this is years old, but do you still have the tubeless tyre mod on your ride? Have you had to redo because of leaks?

The round dots coving the spoke nipples were invented by a Stripper, in some counties strippers must cover their nipples, So yeah, there's that.
