The Prisoner helped come up with a theory, The Nomai built the tools and a Hearthian made the journey. How amazing it is that species, who know nothing of each other, make the best teamwork in the whole universe

i can't get enough of the solanum model, seeing a model of a nomai without their mask on feels so surreal i can't stop looking at it

This has to be one of the most beautiful tributes to Outer Wilds I've seen. This is awesome. And it makes me realize (for the 1000th time), that no game will ever beat Outer Wilds in my heart. ❤️

In my previous OW video I landed on the Sun Station without the ship lol

This was just Wow The way the travelers interacted was just Every time i think i cant cry in about this game Yet i always get proven wrong

Outer Wilds stuff never fails to make me cry, there will be nothing like this masterpiece ever again. The animation of them holding hands, and then all together around the campfire, interacting, eating marshmallows, that was so beautiful! Thanks for this awesome video!

I'm a year late, but I think there certainly WOULD be. Isn't this what Outer Wilds stands for, anyways? One thing has ended, but another will come - it will be different, but familiar. The future holds stories to tell, and we shouldn't be so sad that a chapter is over!

Oh thank you so much for making this. The entire End Times chapter was beautiful, actually brought me to tears. The weight of the Hatchling offering the Prisoner their hand, and all the Hearthians helmetless around the ancient grove campfire... Gorgeous.

That last animations of all characters sitting around campfire is just something else. Great job

IM CRYING AND THATS TOTALLY OKAY Seeing this take on the journey through the game, and the entire god damn End Times chapter especially, were very moving. Plus, the Models are excellently made, and seeing all of the Travelers around the Campfire at the end of time was great (I loved the detail of Solanum showing the Prisoner how to use her staff to play the different notes, that was especially wholesome). Fantastic video!

Dude, the camera work on this is EXCEPTIONAL. As is the editing and the entire concept of course, but I'm really most impressed with the shots you managed to get - super cinematic and awesome! I've tried using the free cam mod, and it's great for exploring things you can't normally see but getting actually nice shots can be a real pain in the patoot. Stunning work, seriously.

Outer wilds was an incredible experience that I continue to find great joy from when I discuss it with my friends who were either passionate about it themselves or I managed to convince to love it Them all around the campfire like that gives me the same feeling of sharing an experience with your friend and I can't get enough of it Thank you for the amazing work here, seeing all the driven characters feeling their sense of purpose rise up before their big moments, and all the hearthians now helmetless getting to interact one last time in the ancient glade was a treasure.

Great stuff man! First time seeing a animated tribute to outer wilds, and it's pretty stellar. However i think it should've have a spoiler warning at beginning and not to have important characters in the thumbnail. Just so new people would know nothing, play it, and can have the same experience as we all did. I hate to take away that chance for someone. But other than that, you did good job. I really like the 80s retro.

First of all, I love the animation man, amazing work! Second, the "End Times" section was made in blender, right? I've been wanting to get into making OW animations myself as well, and I'm curious as to how you were able to get the planets in the animation. I'd be glad if you can explain how you were able to do it, or point me to someone who could explain it as well, but if you don't feel comfortable sharing, that's fine! Again, amazing work on the animation.

Thanks for the kind words! All animations were made in Blender, yes. All planet and character models I made from scratch myself - those are not from the game files. End times at the end is all made in Blender, but in some scenes I used motion tracking to put my models in front of in-game footage! Can't point u to someone specific as I used plenty of different tutorials from different people, sorry!

Honestly this video could've been a masterpiece, and it was in every way possible except for the parts where you used non outer wilds music. It's such a shame because i was really immersed before that but the techno music pulled me out of it. Otherwise very great video, especially the end with the custom animations. Well done!
