The new start route is amazing, so so so much smoother than the last set up

@@gomerrouge nope, there is a way to totally skip it by a data manipulation but that's not autorized in any%, that's called Menu Storage

That's a risky speedrunning strat which lets you barely escape the anglerfish and saves a lot of time. It's difficult to pull off, so in categories like 100% it's considered too risky, as it's an hour long speedrun, but since any% is only 7 minutes, speedrunners can afford to lose a few runs trying this strat.
