no literally it’s so funny how Madison explained how deep it was for Kiara and how she wanted to comfort him and thought JJ was just in denial and hard for him to open up and then they cut to Rudy saying it made no sense and that it wasn’t about them but about Big John 😭 LIKE WHO CARES ABOUT THAT MAN PLEASE

I've read that Madison and Rudy distance themselves a bit in interviews because the fans were shipping them. And earlier, Rudy and Masion wanted Jiara so badly. I feel like Rudy got totally stuck on this "I'll give Madison and Jiara the cold shoulder" thing. But he seems a bit weird in general in all interviews. I don't want to read anything into it, but maybe he's not doing well.

I remember Maddie being upset back in 2020 when people were attacking her girlfriend but she’s not letting it get in between the show. I imagine it’s very hard especially since he’s probably going through other things, but I hope next season he can be more into it seeing the fans are way more respectful now

But think they are tell of what their character is thanking in that moment. I got that from that scene. It jaut typical girl vs guy way. He was just trying to get her to come with them. And she is worry about the relationship. Which is important but not as important as what was happening. But to he is was just as important.

Stop reading too much into this; he's giving us JJ's perspective, which is a lot simplier than Kiara's at the moment.

Rudy literally tries his hardest to stay away from anything to do with madison/kiara cause of all the drama that happened which can be really annoying because it leads him to just say things like it doesn’t make sense every time jj and kiara are together

I’m sorry but topper pressing charges on John b after one fight made me laugh because topper pushed him off the tower thing and tried to drown him and then burnt down the château but did Johnb press charges at all no😂

And her ‘I love you, dude’ was so genuine❤️ she just wants him to know he’s not alone🥹 and with jjs family and always being put down I don’t think he knows how to accept, or think he deserves that sort of love.

I dont think Rudy is being uncomfortable about jiara lmao. He’s speaking what was going through the mind of the character, which is what he said. Jj in that scene was hectic and only had John B in his mind. He didn’t want to hear it from Kiara right there because his objective was to go. Maddie and Rudy deciding to keep their friendship off cameras bc of the harassment their gfs went through online has nothing to do with the characters and even their actual friendship offline. Rudy had spoken before about liking jiara and he def put energy on it. The happiest Jj has been in almost all seasons were the last 2 eps with Kie lmao. Rudy understands his character well. I would say not just about jiara but throughout all these breakdowns he feels a little unsure of himself?? He keeps using “i think” to undervalue some of his acting decisions. Idk if he was feeling off the day of these interviews or if it’s because he suffers from anxiety??

When he himself as an actor literally only chose to smile and laugh with Kiara in the last couple episodes. But jiara still wasn’t his only conflict this season. They expect him to talk about his character and if he doesn’t speak only about jiara they shut him down😭

@@petrasladka6558 fr, anytime he talks about jiara or is in an interview with maddison they psychanalyze him and it’s the weirdest thing. like i’ve also seen interviews where he wasn’t with maddison and he wasn’t talking about jiara and he was also more quiet and distant. like ppl need to stop making speculations. it’s very clear that both maddison and rudy gave their all into this season otherwise it wouldn’t have came out the way it did. let’s appreciate what they did instead of making these speculations about the actors off camera. they might not post as much online or hang out as much but they’re still friends, it’s all that matters.

ya’ll bffr rudy was not dissing jiara he was literally explaining JJ’s thought process and decision making in that scene. don’t over analyze their answers. their job is to dissect the scene for their character. that’s the whole point.

madison is such a great actress! she is very professional and knows how to do her job well without being affected by irl situations! madelyn and chase too.

a lot of you guys are saying Rudy didn’t like the scene where Kiara says I love you to JJ but he’s talking in JJ’s perspective he didn’t say he disliked it

I feel like Kiara would have been more protective of John B about what Sarah did... When the boys both locked them on a boat, Kiara did ask Sarah to promise she would never hurt him like she did to her... I feel like Kiara is pretty straight forward and would have been even a little harsh to Sarah... Also, this whole scene, both of them talking, feels so rushed, like 'oh we have to talk about our relationships before the next big thing so let's go!'...

These comments are hard to read lol... I'm gonna defend Rudy in this by saying that what he was speaking on was JJ's perspective going into that scene. Every character has something that they want and desire in every scene and overall to the story. Rudy was saying that what JJ wanted in that scene had no correlation to what Kiara wanted, that's why he reacted the way that he did when Kiara said I love you. It's why Madison and Rudy gave very different answers, because their characters' desires at that moment were completely different. It's not him taking a dig at the Jiara ship, it's simply a scene breakdown.

The friendship scenes between Sarah and Kiara were great. I liked it. But still I think that is something that doesn't suit outer banks. The scene with JJ and Kiara. I love that the creator saw that Madison put everything into the Jiara scene. because i saw it too.

So something like about this episode I really like that you have John B and JJ being best friends and understanding each other then you have Sarah and Kie having each other's back. I know Pope and Cleo are apart of this group too but like Sarah and Kie have be friends since before this time in the same way John B and JJ have had this friendship for a long time.

I love Kiara and JJs dynamic. I feel like Kie was just frustrated because she cares so much and Jj keeps shutting her out. She wants to have a personal conversation since they’ve been back and he keeps shutting her out. I also think in that moment Jj is more worried about Big John.

yeah. he used to be all for it but now it seems like both madison and him hate jiara because people were shipping them in real life and hating on their girlfriends. but i hope rudy is okay because this seasons interviews he seems very quiet and never looks at the cast or the camera. i just really hope he’s doing good

I didn’t like how it felt like Kiara was begging for JJ to love her in this season. TBH Sarah and Kiara scenes as well as Kiara and Rafe scenes were the best. Very natural.

wdym “begging”? she just wanted to be straightforward with her feelings and she wanted them to talk about it because both knew something was shifting in their friendship and they were developing feelings. jj kept pushing her away and he was self-sabotaging most of the season and she could see it, that’s why she wanted to set things straight between them which makes a lot of sense to me.

Yeah i didn't understand why Kiara was so forgiving not even that maybe less intense reaction to Sarah hooking up with topper, like maybe It's the result of her character development and their friendship but i guess it would have been nicer if we actually got some friendship scenes between her and Sarah to just understand her lack of reaction to the cheating :(

Rudy feels like me, we need more plausability in the script, seriously.

Rudy did ask the writers about why this season is so much packed with action, and the writers said that the wheel only turn one way... So, season 4 is gonna be even more deceiving and disapointing, if you ask me. The fact that Rudy asked is comforting to me... Before TV shows, he acted in somes plays and I feel like he might be more into character development, drama and comedy than action?

@@cnambd It is a balance, but even actions scenes felt sometimes unreal or too convenient... We know that has scifi elements but they can create better arc development characters and not rushing everything or do scenes that haven't sense... For me, it is a guilty placer. They should take notes from Stranger Things, for example.

I dont think rudy and Maddie even like each other in real life their kiss was so fake you cand tell they uncomfortable, so I'm not sure why people ship them! They act like they can't stand each other in real life.. so if your going to out them together then it needs to seem real and not fake! Leave Sarah and John B alone!
