Outdoor Dining Upgrade - Building Privacy Panels

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A very generous customer of Sake 107 in Petaluma, CA hired my step sister, owner of local flower shop, Flower Casita, to upgrade their outdoor dining experience. I helped with the build of four privacy panels that plant boxes can sit on top of.
The design was fairly simple. I made four plywood boxes joined together with pocket screws, and then used carriage bolts to attach the slatted privacy panels onto the boxes.
The end result helps to shield the view of the cars on the road from the restaurant patrons while creating an intimate dining experience. I loved supporting a local restaurant during one of the toughest periods to be a restaurant owner. Check out Sake 107!
Thanks for watching!

I totally want this for my backyard. I love that you mention all the trial and error parts of it. I appreciate that and how you corrected those "mistakes". Thanks

Nice! I would use 3/4” to 1” plywood instead of 5/8” plywood like I used if I had to do it all over again for longevity.

@@ChristopherYee I concur. You also should have framed the boxes inside with 2x4s for extra strength and weight.. Other than that, great job!
