@@NormalOval That's... not true, though? The tea shows that they feel similarly about Susie as how Susie feels about them, Ralsei, and even Noelle, as well as how Ralsei feels about Kris and Susie. Susie definitely doesn't have a crush on Kris or Ralsei, and the identical healing tells us that Kris doesn't have a crush on Susie.(It also tells us that, at least as of chapter 2, Susie doesn't reciprocate Noelle's feelings for her.)

I really love how the characters though they have been swapped still retain some of their original traits, so it doesn't feel like characters swapping bodies but feels like characters placed in different scenario's

That’s why I like AUs like this and TS!Underswap, because they keep the original character intact while still putting them in different roles.

As one of the few berdly fans, I appreciate any kind of fan content that portraits him as cool instead of annoying.

It almost seems like Kris is slightly more aware that it isn't a dream compared to Noelle. But I could just be overthinking it based on their expressions

I like how in this Deltaswap, a few personality traits for what Kris USED to act like before Deltarune took place, Berdly is still a smart know it all every now and again, and Susie still has the habit of making fun of others, but they are still swapped, sort of like Canon Underswap, where Sans still makes puns, instead of a trash swap where nothing changes except character looks.

OHHH so that was the point of underswap? I remember disscussing this with a friend... it didn't seem interesting to me to say you "swap" characters, yet all you change are it's looks. Sometimes, the character's original personality would be discarded completely, so there was no real point to it all, as it's basically the same... But this makes it so much more interesting! Now i get it! Guess i just didn't get to see the original underswap concept...

I like how one of the options for choices is "Eat Snow" which is a replacement for normal Deltarune's "Eat Moss" option. That must mean Noelle swapped places with Kris as the protagonist. It also means she (possibly they if they've switched genders with Kris), must have an obsession with eating snow just like the original Kris loves eating moss. I wonder if this Kris also likes moss and the original Noelle secretly likes to eat snow? Edit: Noelle is still she/her. Kris is still they/them. The video maker confirmed it.

ty for the comment!! noelle does swap with kris, but she's still got a similar personality to her canon self, despite it maybe not being obvious due to her being controlled by the player and therefore not having any dialogue. kris in this AU, just like in the normal game, uses they/them only. it's very wrong, at least in my eyes, to use different pronouns for a nonbinary character. (and ofc noelle still uses she/her)

what an amazing and cute scene! showing the prank-y side of kris' personality was a good touch and the outfit you gave them was adorable, and their facial expression sprites are absolutely adorable too! and susie looks so cool with her hair tied at the end too. kris x berdly is such a surprisingly cute ship, and the ferris wheel was my favourite scene in chapter 2, so im glad someone decided to make a deltaswap version of it, such a great take too! good job, can't wait to see what other content you make in the future!

It’s so weird to hear Kris have a dialogue sound, since no other humans in UT/DR - Chara, Frisk, or Kris - have one, even when they do actually have dialogue. Anyway, this was pretty damn cool! A neat AU concept! Great work!

Well, OST that been used for this video are from Aethercrest AU with (mostly) same roles as this, still keeps characters personalities. But Kris can talk because they not have a vessel with player control.

This is one of the most clever takes I've seen tbh, and you write them so well. Not a rip off of the canon dialogue and actually has character uniqueness. Love it!

I love this and I don't know why. I love the writing and the sprites and the fact that so much is left unsaid. It's so fun to imagine the different character dynamics resulting from this swap, and this video does such a great job at establishing how they work, giving us a jump start to imagine our own scenarios of what came before and what could happen later. Great job.

This is great! What a neat interpretation of Deltaswap that actually works pretty well with Chapter 2.

This is so goddamn unexpected and the fact this hit my recommended is a dead sign that this is about to hit the algorithm. SOOOO before that happens... holy crap this was hilarious to watch. Why does this remind me of those stories and fanfictions of my character as myself taking part in a story, falling in love with a character and at the same time not caring about the original plot at all to the point of making no sence but also kind of becoming its own story?

Idk if I commented on this, but I cannot WAIT to see LB Deltaswap Noelle. Kris strangling Susie was great too. Feels a lot more like TS!Underswap, so if thats what you're going for, great job! Nonetheless, this is, in my opinion, the definitive Deltaswap.

Im unsure if this kris is still they/them or, for the purpose of this au, takes on a new gender. Regardless, i do like how the character relationships arent just carbon copies of deltarune. They shift due to the character placements. And honestly, it is refreshing to see something like that. Good job.

@@turtleisa5667 i’d say both. gender isn’t (and shouldn’t be) defined by your expression of it (like your hairstyle or clothing), and being non-binary is no different. kris may wear a dress and have long hair in this au, but it doesn’t make them less non-binary than if they had shorter hair and wore pants and sweaters.
