And the fact that they took the time to make to assure giga bowser also had that Victory animation makes it even better

The fact that all of the Wario Victory Animations are original and one is directly based of Wario Land 4 tells me how much detail and care they put into the character.

Original or not, it would have been equally hard to animate. The conceptualizing process is the least worrisome part of animating.

Speaking of Wario Land I still hope that the mod adds in Captain Syrup as a playable fighter

They did a great job replicating the animation style of the OG game's win-screens. I just wish they gave some of these characters the win themes from 64's original OST. Some of them sound pretty uncanny for the Smash 64 format like Dark Samus and Mewtwo. They did an AMAZING job translating the Fire Emblem theme into that sound font, that sounded magical.

Sonic's animations genuinely made me smile it's like we peered into another timeline where he really was in smash 64, it's isnane how well done these are

11:22) Today I just figured out that this victory pose of Sonic kinda syncs with the music.

I think my favorite part of the Mad Piano section is not just the fact that that's an actual character in this game, not just the fact that its victory themes are piano covers of various Mario songs but the implication that Super Sonic lost to a goddamn piano.

Speaking of Falco I still hope that the Remix team includes Krystal in the mod Since her game, Dinosaur Planet, was supposed to come out on N64 (It's time for Krystal to be in a Smash Bros game dang it)

This tickles my Smash 64 memories.

Neat to see an N64 style model of Marth, it reminds me of the cancelled FE 64 game.

Giga Bowser standing upright and laughing evilly is just something else.

They could've used Fox's victory theme for Falco. But then again, that's just me. I mean, we never got alternate victory themes until we got Meta Knight in Brawl. Then we got alternate victory themes for Bowser, Bowser Jr. and Dark Pit for Smash 4. And then alternate victory themes for Lucina, Corrin, Byleth and Robin, K. Rool, Dark Samus and Ridley, and even Sephiroth.

Having marina in this game is such a treat. Treasure deserves more recognition than they have gotten

Theirs just something about Smash 64 winning animations that I think are way better then in the future games. I prefer Ness' serious face after swinging the bat in here then in the future games. Luigi's winning animations in this game are underrated as hell. I honestly wanted characters that were scrapped in the original 64 to be in the game and I'm glad they got in. Thank you so much for this

It's so crazy that they also made the announcer sound legit with these new characters rather than existed audio and edit it out. Like. They could used the original "Link!" voice for Young Link, but instead they took effort to actually use voice clips made by themselves.

When you do your RE-creative, razzled-dazzled game art, is it exclusively Smash Bros 64? Could you operate Paper Mario sprites? Recreate levels, places, and scenes? For example, Grodus battling Bowser? Or make a town underneath Toad Town Tunnels (like Rougeport Sewers)?

These all have so much soul...

Actually its based on the Old Mansion theme from Pokémon Red/Blue. That is where you learn more about Mewtwo fittingly 😊

I would definitely imagine Conker in Super Smash Bros. like I always have since I was a preadolescent in middle school back in the middle 2000's. Yeay sadly, and also his entrance animation (I wish he had his SSB4/U entrance) But I can understand they left everything like this since it was their first times modding Smash 64. It was only full-clones of existing characters. But yeah, would be cool if they gave him his melee poses
