What I really find interesting is that, on the few sections where you see the other doctors hands, their buttons are unique. The button you use changes depending on the difficulty you set it to, you see, the default button being Normal. And I find it very interesting to note that Dr. Paige's button is the button for 'Very Easy', while Ian's button is the 'Very Hard' button. It's an interesting detail.

To be fair, Dr. Paige shows signs that she studied medicine, but doesn't want the programs since she'd think she wasted her years studying, while Ian on the other hand is the one who made it, therefore being a professional

Saying "anymore" suggests we had more realistic voice acting in the past, but it's always been a mixed bag on whenever that is the style choice. Old acting was actually considered good when it had that forced tone.

It's SO fun to play along to that, by flicking a finger to the rhythm, or slamming your hand on a blanket or something. Very empowering. :D

FACT: If you restart Super Battleworn Insomaniac many times, Ian says "Do I always have to sound suprised?" Then Ada says "Yes, now stop whining Ian." Then Ian says "A relapse?" Also if you restart, instead of a loading screen, it just flashes and goes straight into the level.

This music is so great can't wait for the full release, I get the feeling the old lady will pass away during the game since the her piano music is so sad... plus her husband has a photo of the two of them. Playing the game myself it is easy to get attached to the characters. Invisible is my fav song by far... my fav song may change after full release.

I was thinking about that. If you listen carefully to the ending dialogue in 3-X, they mention that Mrs. Stevenson can't remember him [Mr. Stevenson]. That's very likely to come up in the future, and I agree that her music is suspiciously somber for the situation.

Super impressive. I'll never get S+ on every level, but I'll be happy to get them on just a few! This game is the BEST. Also, Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) is a thing I've experienced personally and -- aside from being a fine Super Hexagon reference -- that stage is one of the best representations of how scary a PSVT event can be... heart going 140-180 BPM for minutes at a time, and then the normal rhythm feels super slow.

16:49 I really can relate to this song I am a 15yo kid and I go to school and my god when I get all of the things that make me happy taken away as motivation, then after that still have them taken away it just sucks. I know myself better than anyone and how my parents parent does not work with me, it makes me feel like I'm never enough. I will be passing all of my classes some just barely but I have always gotten them up the last time I got a c was in 6th grade I am a freshman now. I just feel like whatever I do, someone has already done it better, and faster. I have 2 older brothers who are very smart and look like they know what they are doing, both are becoming engineers. My oldest brother is like the top 10 in his class and my brother said he hated it and has now changed what engineering he is doing. I only have 2 things that make me a lot happier and one very reliant one has been taken away so I have not felt the best, and I was not doing too hot before that either so I am more afraid that I will collapse because I don't show how I feel if I'm sad so if I ever do I don't know what will happen. I think it is common for people who are depressed to just be very scared at showing themself because I can take hurtful words from anyone other than the people who I am true to, so I don't know how to tell my parents how I feel. Because they say all happiness doesn't come from video games, or basically any at all so I don't know how to tell them that it does because I have other things that I only tell a few people and I think I should tell them, but I just have no way. So I just needed to tell someone who can't judge me because my friends would be fine but I only really have one friend that I feel could help me. So if you are reading this you either skipped or read that whole thing, so hi, if you can drop any advice on some help any is lovely. 😅

hi! i’m sorry if my advice is not the best, since it’s not really the same to say things and having to write them down. even if it ends up sucking, i hope that the fact that i read your message helped a little? i’m 19, and in my second year of med school, so our situations aren’t exactly the same. nonetheless, as a student, i feel like i don’t know anything, because there are always others who seem to be doing better all the time, no matter how much we try. and you know what? we shouldn’t compare ourselves to others. believe me, i know it sounds hard. i’m in the middle of convincing myself it’s okay to rest, and to not hate myself just because others have better grades than me, for example. life isn’t a race, and we are allowed to be happy or just get moments of calm. just so you know, i do have depression too, and i agree with you when you said that sometimes saying things out loud can be scary, and hearing things we often don’t want to hear can be horrible, too. and when we feel that bad, little things do bring us happiness even when other people think it doesn’t. maybe playing games is that thing for you. i don’t really know you, or your friends, but i hope you know that despite that, i’m sending you light and love, and i wish for things to get better for you. there’s always someone, if we learn how to look for them. hugs, ai. pd, english isn’t my first language so i’m sorry if i said something wrong!

It’s been a while since I last checked out this game, and with Friday Night Funkin being all I’ve seen for a few weeks, I think I’m gonna get on this train for a while

Something I noticed is, that a few songs got a bit more "simplified" On the Act 1 boss are the effects during the event not that extreme anymore. Some of the screen glitches have been replaced with a long static. And 2-3 is that long coffee scene with 9+ smaller too (Or at least it feels like that)

I thought that the game pulled no punches on its distractions for the first boss, and then I saw what Super Battleworn Insomniac is like

Love how the fake notifications during the hard version of the first boss are literally just “DISTRACTION DISTRACTION DISTRACTION DISTRACTION” like it’s really cool as a gimmick but also as someone who’s mastered the art of processing information fast enough to counter my own easily-distactable nature: it’s almost sort of entertaining. Just like *You fool. I’ve been battling with my ADHD for years now; your amateur ways are nothing compared to what is conjured by my own mind.*

Fun fact at 3:35 you can see her at the other window,its the same when you first do her on rythm doctor you can see him at the other window..

Insomniac is actually very easy if you count the heart beats in your head or just sing the song like it was before the wifi virus jammed the song

I'm not saying it's the easiest level, but it actually was the only that I clicked with first before even the earlier labels. Real shit, Insomniac daytime was legit the first and only level I perfected for a long time. I don't think it deviates even once from the beat except maybe once at the very end. The visuals and audio glitches are just a distraction. Keep trying if you haven't gotten it yet! Try closing your eyes. That's how I got it 😌

wtf I just found this game and it's fucking masterpiece. I'm just shocked and delighted. music, visual, gameplay, that's just perfect. sadly that my laptop doesn't work now so I can't play this wonderful game but I hope soon I can do it.
