I always thought trends were about seeing which 'new' (recycled from 10-20 years ago) styles you might want to add to your permanent collection. The way so many twentysomethings obsessively track trends by specific year is so brainwashed by the industry into buying into things then being ashamed of having bought into them. These things used to have a decade-long cycle.

I love this because I don’t think of trends the way a lot of people do like I don’t care what was in style this year I just kinda think of all the things I liked to wear in the past ten years … ya I def don’t care what the stores are saying is cool it’s usually strange looking to me n I know they r just trying to get the prices up … also I don’t really go on social media so it’s very easy for me to not care about it and just do my own thing

I love and am still gonna be wearing most items mentioned in this video too!!❤ As someone of a very average height, and loves to wear trousers longer for a little visual elongation, i absolutely am not letting go of my platform/chunky sneakers and shoes. They also help hold the garment ends up so I'm not dragging them on the ground. Also, definitely wearing a denim on denim now since i forgot to while it was trending.😄

they are originally from urban outfitters !! but I got them off eBay so idk what lil sub-brand of uo they are, sorry! but I can tell you they are v v good quality and I do really recommend theM !!!!xxxxxx
