Interesting, I haven’t delved to deep into the outcast book yet… I will have to dig deeper. To the balance bandwagon riders… If you want balance play 40K, Necromunda is about having fun win or loose and doing something ridiculous with your friends. Keep up the great work!

Well I think as a guy that plays a lot of Orlocks I love the guild of coin alliance as it gives you good long range support and most of the time extra credits.

I agree, it also makes a decent core for an outcast delegation gang!

I'm going to do videos on all the delegation gangs: Merchant, Criminal, and Noble Houses. I def have a rogue factory gang, its one of the largest ones yet!

Nice. I guess the Toll Collector delegation isn't available from Forge World yet? Or is it out of production already? What miniatures did you use as substitutes?

For me, I just used proxies because this delegation hasn't been released yet. I also used a lot of 3rd party miniatures as well! Hope that helps!

@@CommanderCheapSkateThanks. I will look around for miniatures fitting the theme. I got two Ridge Haulers, each with a trailer. One with Promethium tanks for the Orlock and one with containers for the Guild of Coin. I also got the Ironcrawler for the latter. For now, they were meant for convoy scenarios but it would be nice to add a gang to them ;-).

In case you wonder why I got two haulers: Apart from two being nicer than one, lol, the main reason is that I built the Promethium version first and was stupid enough to glue on the rear platform on both the truck and the trailer before realizing it will get in the way of the containers. I didn't want to rip it off to magnetize it since I already had painted it. And then I figured a second land train might be nice anyways ;-).

My craziest (optional) change to the Orlock Ridge Hauler btw is the addition of the quadruple flak turret of the Hydra tank from the Imperial Guard. I got the turret built already and plan to build an "undercarriage" (I need a construction where the upper deck of the Hydra - that holds the Flak turret - fits into. I also need to lift the entire thing up high enough for the guns to be able to fire horizontally over the driver cabin when turning the turret to the 12 o'clock position of the vehicle. I of course completely neglect that the guys in the cabin probably would get a whole series of concussions from the muzzle breaks of the guns (the muzzles end up directly above the cabin in the 12 o'clock position 😅). This kind of armament might seem excessive but things escalated quite quickly after I started to build/source vehicles for my numerous other gangs. I eg. custom-built a kind of "wheelbarrow" for the Cawdor that is pushed by the sceleton of an Armiger Knight (the "wheelbarrow" is mounted to the knight at the shoulders, where normally the shoulder-mounted weapons would go). The single wheel in the front doubles as a generator that produces power for a kind of Tesla gun that's mounted to the left of the wheel. On the right is a heavy flamer. Other vehicles ended up similarly heavily armed and suddenly the Orlock felt completely undergunned. Since I got only one friend who is keen on Necromunda, I kind of got my own vehicle rules. 😅 I'm also in the process of building a bucket-wheel excavator that will end up being about 105cm long, 30 wide and 55 high (it can be disassembled for storage). It is tracked (on four 4cm wide 1/16 scale bulldozer tracks, each 45cm long and mounted side-by-side) but obviously it's supposed to be a terrain piece and not a vehicle. All (including the undercarriage of the Hydra turret and that wheelbarrow contraption) was/will be built from laser-cut MDF (I got a Longer Ray 5 10W diode laser cutter/engraver). The parts for the excavator are mostly cut and are partly assembled. Now I need to proceed with final assembly of the modules (due to the storage limits of a length of 70cm and a height of 33...)

@@philippk819 that sounds amazing! It reminds me of the technicals you see on the news sometimes in North Africa of these massive guns mounted on tiny Toyota Pick Up Trucks! These projects sound amazing!
