Didn’t you get the Data Cable that goes from engine to helm? Can eliminate gauges, hook to your Lowrance, Set up a NEMA 2000 network all at very little cost.

Hey Greg, Thanks for watching! Yes i did but i do like having the gauges there as i can keep an eye on everything whilst still using the Lowrance as navigation and fish finder :)

Hi Mate, great video. Just a small note for your motor spec, to index the plugs you can use the range specified in the service manual for your specific motor which is between 15 - 30 Ft.lbs. Cheers

In addition to this Australian KZread Channel I also watch the Dangar Marine Channel. Stu , the creator of the Dangar Marine Channel is located in New South Wales and I believe the creator of this channel is located Western Australia. Question? Are there regional accents in Australia? While to my American ears both of our Aussie hosts sound Aussie, but it seems that there is a slight difference in the way each man pronounces certain words.

this was really good as i get a boat with these outboards i will knew what to do on these outboards in case i get a boat with say a 150hp Evinrude in my case i get the older model premix Evinrude these was the older models with the twin lock under the cowling these was the 150hp premix model im getting in future as i dont like the newer motors for a reason was i liked the older big Evinrude V6 outboards that are premix motors i love the older model outboards that ae 50;1 models as i dont like the oil injection as my carer told me to stay away from the outboards with oil injection say the older motors with the troubled VRO systems this why i liked the premix models these was the motors on 50;1 these was my preffered motors my buddy

I want to do this with my frazer 5.25 but i’m very much lacking most of the skills required. Who would usually do this kind of thing? a shipwright? What do you reckon that would cost?

Hey Mate! honestly, depending on your outboard, its very easy to do, with a basic socket set can get the job done in 20 minutes :)

@@AngryMackAdventures :D sorry, I've been following the whole restoration. I meant the whole thing. Mainly the paint/gel coat etc I just love what you've done tho. I've noticed the bottom doesn't get any love? Is this just because it's logistically hard to do it just something that isn't done?
