My Uncle worked for a Landscaping company and they had a job over in Tampa back in the 1990's, My Uncle was digging to plant trees on this job .He said he was digging and hit something very hard in the ground .He dug it up and it turned out to be a Cannonball. .He brought it home to his house in Largo Fl ..He showed all of us this cannonball ..it was cool looking and very old looking ..My Uncle joked and said How did a cannonball end up here in Tampa ?? He said there was no fighting here !!! We didn't know the History of Tampa back than and that there was a Fort there ..He passed away back in 2001 and most of his things were taken by his kids ..I wonder what ever became of that cannonball??

Very cool. Visit the History Center. There is a ton of similar artifacts there, including a cannon ball.
