    When you think about it, this game isn’t too bad compared to its other counterparts, there was effort put into it.

    I remember this song from watching ProJared's review, I always found it catchy. So early 90's in the way I love, lol

    For some reason this game is hard coded into my memories. I remember my family purchasing this game.. ( actually it was my older brother ) and the long drive home. I asked if I could read the instruction manual ( remember those?! ) and to my pleasure it was fairly large and kept me entertained and gave a good leg up understanding the game when it came time to fire up the title. Of course when we got home it went straight into the console. As it was my older brother's purchase he got the first play. The intro was pretty cool, and the music was awesome... but the visuals were meh.. but it reminded me of the other CRPG's we had tried before.. so I just accepted it as one of those games but with better tunes. This song in particular is burned into my mind.. along with my brother's sounds of frustration when some NPC got in the way of a building's entrance..

    6 out of 10 game with a 11 out of 10 soundtrack! ... Which is quite the shame because this game has lot of potential but it can be hard to get into due to the complex gameplay mechanics and it sure looks rough by Mega Drive standards (I mean, Phantasy Star 2 was already around since 6 months and looked far better) but if you can get past that, there's still an interesting experience to delve into, even more with such a fab soundtrack on top of it.

    I've said it for years, this game was so ahead of it's time. Is it horrible to play now? Pretty much, but leagues ahead in terms of ideas at the time. These things are standard in many Rpgs now (real time, weight, day night cycles)

    I've never played Super Hydlide, and yet this song hits me in the nostalgia.

    god, the game may be bad, sound engine is really below average. But I hate the fact that the melody is so good. ;w;

    I heard Genesis soundchip is better than this, but that's just minor thing to me. Still, I really like the melody.
